I liked this hotel. A friend and I shared a double room for 8 nights in December of 2001 and I would go back in a second. The room was adequate: small but with both a luggage rack and a desk/chair so we each had a place for our suitcases. Big armoir to hang things, comfortable twin beds. Nice bathroom. elevator. Best was the view of Piazza Paliolo out the window. I did a sketch of the palazzo opposite.

Excellent hotel and perfect for getting about We stayed at the Teatro di Pompeo in June and it was nice and quiet. The hotel is very clean and the room was spacious and had air conditioning included. It was brilliently located, the Pantheon was a 5 minute walk away and the forum about 20 minute walk and we actually walked everywhere the whole time we was there. There was a good choice of food for breakfast, especially for me as i can't eat bread, there were cereals, meats, yoghurts and cake! The breakfast room is within a cave setting and its really nice and atmospheric. There are a couple of restaurants next door but the Campo di Fiori and Piazza Navona are only a couple of minutes away so there was lots of restaurants to choose from. The only thing we found was that the hotel is quite hidden amongst the backstreets and it took us a couple of days to find our way back without going round in circles or going back to the main road. We would definitely go back to this hotel, fantastic!!

My wife and I spent 5 nights here last week and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The staff was friendly and accomodating and serving us hot cappucinos before we could say 'gratzie'. We arrived mid-morning before our room was ready so they let us store our luggage while we explored the neighborhood.

Great Location Makes This Hotel a Winner! You can walk to the Colosseum and Forum, the Vatican and the Pantheon, as well as Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps. You'll really get the flavor of Rome along the way. Hotel is in the Campo di Fori district, a delight of shops, restaurants and sidewalk cafes for sipping and people watching.

Great Hotel and Great Location The hotel staff will give you a booklet that has coupons to save money on the "Hop On/Hop Off" bus. They also provided good restaurant recommendations.
