Hotel Residenza Frattina

Hotel location was nice. Car traffic was minimal and and very convenient for many Rome sights. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good with good variety. None.

The Residenza Frattina is a small, charming hotel in the middle of Rome. We were initially surprised to be deposited in front of a double gate with nothing to indicate the presence of a hotel except a discreet sign at the side of the entrance. Walking to the back of a courtyard, we found a well-worn stone staircase at the top of which was a tiny reception room and a lovely gentleman who welcomed us like old friends. The hotel motif is pink and old-gold with lots of paintings and statues and antique-looking furniture. Our room was small but comfortable and both the room and the bath were the kind of clean that comes from genuine care. Our favorite part of the experience, however, was breakfast! The Breakfast Room had 4 or 5 small tables set with linen and silver and a buffet of eggs, cereal, pastries, coffecake, biscotti, juice, milk, and the best coffee in Italy! Two sets of narrow French doors were opened onto decorative balconies and white sheer curtains gently billowed in the breeze. Just enough sunshine came in through the opened doors to give the room a pleasant "take your time but hurry out to play" feeling! It was the perfect start to each day - just as the Frattina was the perfect start to our journey through Italy!

Great Hotel This is a great little hotel in the heart of historic Rome, only a few blocks from the Spanish steps, Trevi Fountain and the Metro. The service was great and the hotel was very clean and neat.

+ Staff very helpful and friendly. room clean and comfortable, bathroom on the small side. fridge stocked with complementry drinks. breakfast was excellent with plenty of fresh fruit.

We recently stayed at this hotel and i have to say that it has all the qualities that you look for when choosing a hotel . Considering that it is located in a prime location by the spanish steps the accomodation price was of good value .Excellent ,clean ,beautiful rooms . The staff made us feel very welcome . It was cozy and intimate and was tastefully decorated with classical furniture .

I was totally satisfied with our (me and my husband) stay at Residenza Frattina. It?s perfectly situated just next to the spanish steps and close to alot of nice bars, cafes and shops. It?s at walking distance to all of Rome?s main sites. The B&B itself is clean and furnished with good classical taste. The room that we had was big and welcoming. I definately recommend Residenza Frattina to anyone going to Rome.
