My husband and I spent 5 nights at Re di Roma and we were completely satisfied with its services. Clean rooms with modern furniture, friendly staff, nice breakfast, reasonable price and the major sights are easily accessible by subway (the subway station is only a two-minute walk from the hotel).

+The hotel was new, the room and bathroom spotlessly clean. The staff went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. Location near a metro station was good. -Breakfast could have been more varied. The cornetti (croissants) were delicious but there were no slices of real bread to eat with the jam or honey.

We loved this hotel. The rooms were huge and clean. The only issue we had with this hotel was with the wireless internet. The signal was really weak in the room and went down while we were there. This wouldn't have been an issue but my wife was trying to do some work during our stay and this was frustrating for her. They did work hard to resolve the issue and ended up not charging us for the internet access so I would say they did everything they could to address the issue and all in all I would heartily recommend this hotel.

50m from Metro A 'Re di Roma'. Metro A Line is very useful; 7 minutes to Termini, Piazza Spagna, Ottaviano(Vaticano). With bus No.87 direct access to Colosseo, Piazza Venezia, Largo Torre Argentina(Piazza Navona, Pantheon, Campo dei Fiori, Trastevere). 10 Minutes walk to Basilica San Giovanni. I thought it's difficult to find such a nice hotel in central Rome with this Price!! Everything was new and very clean. Gentil staffs: speak also English and German.

I was a bit hesitant when we first booked this hotel as we couldn’t find any reviews in English but we saw some positive remarks on a forum and decided to stick to our booking, and I'm glad we did! We arrived at the hotel all flustered as I had just discovered that my wallet was pickpocketed from my bag on the metro on the way there. The person at the front desk called the owner of the hotel, Eugenio, and he came down to the front desk and proceeded to bring us to the police station. Eugenio was extremely friendly and spoke English really well. Thanks to Eugenio for waiting with us at the police station :)The other two persons who manned the front desk the three days we stayed there were also very helpful and spoke English. The rooms are exactly as pictured in the photos on this website. Having had a chance to talk to Eugenio, we found out that the hotel just opened a few months ago, which meant that everything was nearly brand new! I loved the interior design of the room (dark curtains, wooden floors) and the flat-screen TV, and loved the fact that the room was always toasty warm – a welcome respite from the wintery cold outside. The shower was a little small though. Breakfast was simple but satisfying… the sliced ham was a nice touch. We weren’t served coffee on both days but I suspect the lady manning the breakfast area only spoke Italian and thus was afraid to speak to us. The location of the hotel was great too - it’s four stops from the main Termini station (just a short walk from the Re Di Roma station), and on the same line as the Metro stop for the Vatican City. There is a department store and huge supermarket (Standa) just minutes away so don’t bother with the tiny grocery store opposite the hotel. The neighbourhood that the hotel is in is quiet and seemed pretty safe. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Rome.

hotel was very good the only thing we would like as british travellers a kettle in the room to allow us to make coffee when required as we spent more room in the hotel as we would like due to the weather

+Very nice staff. Hotel is very new with very good decoration (especially if you prefer modern decoration). Recommended for sure. There is a subway station on the same block. -Internet is very expensive in my opinion (3 euro per hour or 15 euro per 24hs).

This is an excellent option for price. The hotel is brand new, run by a group of young people. The rooms are spotless and the area is central enough (with metro) for tourists and quiet enough for everyone.
