I was traveling with two friends and found the hotel to be just as advertised. We loved the area and found it close to everything we wanted to see while in Rome. The room was small but adequate for the three of us. The staff was great and very helpful with restaurants and nearby attractions. Would stay there again when next in Rome.

Pros: Great location, English speaking receptionists, internet station. Cons: Some of the rooms look like old furniture storage rooms, very small bath-rooms, no baths and no Jacuzzis and a very poor breakfast. Some of the rooms are very noisy. Not comparable to 3 stars small hotels in other European capitols (poor standards).

The hotel is situated in the exact area if you want to do shopping in Rome ( or even only window shopping), you don't have to go very far to do it.Also in the area of the Spanish Steps, and of course the Trevi Fountain which is a must, if you have only a few days there.

The perfect hotel in the perfect location. The hotel oozes italian charm and the staff are the most welcoming we have EVER met, in fact, we did not feel like visitors to this hotel - we were made feel like very good friends. We had a truly wonderful stay in the Piaza di Spagna and have already recommended it to many others.

I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Our rooms were terribly depressing. The decor was dark, drab, stark and old. The common area of the hotel is no better. The prices charged vis a vis services rendered were inexcusable. The photos are very misleading. Try another location.

If two people are sharing a room ask for a superior room. The standard double room is too small for two. Request a back room; rooms on the front of hotel are extremely noisy. This hotel did not have a restaurant. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Ladies, bring your hairdryer! The one in our room was very poor. Location is excellent; one minute from subway stop and right near the Spanish Steps. Overall, I would stay here again as long as I could get a superior room towards the back of the hotel. The pictures are somewhat misleading. The foyer is exactly as you see it, however, the rooms are on the gloomy side. The price is reasonable because of the location and the friendliness of the staff.

The location is understated as this hotel is actually in the heart of the shopping district. It is within easy reach of most of the main 'tourist' attractions and some excellent restaurants. The area is safe, busy, very interesting but the hotel is well insulated from the street noise.
