Decor and quality of rooms were not great, but for a few nights the location and costs make up for the poor quality. Staff were friendly and helpful in most cases.

+ Great loctaion, very clean, lovely big bathrooms with a proper bath and loads of hot water! - No view from room, no english tv programs as promised on website, no hairdryer in room, had to ask for one and it was very small, breakfast and coffee fairly mediocre, desk staff not very welcoming or eager to help, especially on arrival.

Do not stay here! This hotel is not worthy of one star, let alone 3 stars. I recently returned from a visit to Italy and can honestly say it was the worst hotel I stayed in. My room was old, dingy, and disgusting. There were black marks on the cloth covered walls, that I assume are from years of smoke. The cover on my bed was brown and stained. I'm still shocked that I did not get bed bugs, the mattress was so old and worn out. While walking to breakfast one morning, I noticed that some of the rooms have been redone, though I still would not recommend staying there. The hotel stinks of smoke and the staff is not particularly helpful. I think the only reason the hotel survives is its slightly convienent location, though I know of better 3 star hotels in the area for about the same price. Do not stay here!

Not a bad hotel, but we were given a room that was not easily accessible and involved a long march along corridors and up and down stairs. Only for one night though so it wasn't bad. The room could have done with a refurbishing, the wallpaper is dowdy and dark, and the furniture is damaged and old. Reasonably close to the Spanish Steps and walkable from Termini train station in about 10 minutes.
