It's a good choice in an area where hotels are really poor

Could have been a bar and the food a bit more creative.

Excellent hotel. One of the finest we stayed in during our entire European vacation. If opportunity sends us to Florence again, we will definitely stay here.

This Hotel is an excellent value. It is just a five minute walk from the Termini. The room was quite spacious, it had a loft! Breakfast included a good variety of breads, fruit, juices, cheese and ham slices. We intend to make it our hotel of choice when we visit Rome.

+ The friendly staff and the ambiance of the hotel. - The room R103 had a window opening into the hallway just above the reception. Without a window to open for fresh air the room was not as comfortable as could have been.

We(4pax) stayed at galles for 3 nights. The room offered is quite historic but really dark. The breakfast is fine except coffee. Some receptionists don't speak English. The hotel is situated near the Termini, just only 5 minute walk from there. * Overall impression * I recommend this hotel for a tourist who would like to feel something Italian there, but a tourist with kids or familly.

+ The room was excellent - large and comfortable - Breakfast was a poor selection and would benefit from hot options. Reception staff were mainly rude. The bar was never open!

The reception staff were surly and attempted to disregard prior request for a twin bedded room and directed us to an annexe a decent walk away instead of the hotel proper. As I speak Italian I ensured I got what was booked but I wonder how many others have been duped.

+ This was perhaps the best of many hotels we stayed on our Europe trip. Quad room we got was two level with excellent facilities! - I think it was close to perfect...
