its a very nice small hotel. unfortunately we had a room in the basement, but after all it was no problem, because in rome you are normally only in the hotel for sleeping. the staff was very friendly.

20 minutes walk from Roma Termini station. Also right alongside tram line so train/tram noise is fairly intrusive.

Veruy bad location. Although generally within the city center the area was the worst in central Rome, as we were afraid during the night. The rooms were very noisy and the hot water pressure was too low. Price over quality very bad, although generally accomodation in Rome is expensive.

Lovely little hotel. Was a bit hard to find at first but whilst near to the Station it was in a nice quite and safe location. Staff very friendly and nothing was too much for them. Breakfast quite basic but plenty of it. Public transport links very close and was easy to get back to even late at night. Would definately recommend and go back to another time

Hotel was very clean and comfortable. However, the hotel did not have the Wi-Fi internet connection promised on the Venere pages. The location was quite far from the city center. Public transportation was also quite far. The surroundings were OK. Overall, a good visit and we would be happy to visit again!

This hotel is advertised as being close to the Rome Termini but it is not as close as they suggest. We would suggest a taxi if you have any luggage to carry or pull. It is a 16 block walk, over very rough, broken sidewalks. A taxi cost approx 10 euros from the station during rush hour. Although the hotel itself was clean and suitable, the surrounding area can be a bit unsettling in the dark. During the day, the area is busy, but at night it is not well lit and there are no buses that will take you to that area at night from the downtown. The metro is only a 15-20 min walk away, but it stops working after 9p.m. everyday. We suggest that if you stay here, budget for taking a taxi back to the hotel everynight. A taxi cost approx. 12 euros from the Trevi Fountain area. The room was exactly as the picture shows. It was clean and the bed was firm. The breakfast was a little more than what we got at other hotels. Usually you recieve a bun, yogurt and coffee. At Ducale they give you a slice of cheese and toast as well. It is not a buffet, they give you a set portion. A big eater might be hungry but it is a typical continental breakfast. Our room was on the same floor as the lobby which we found noisy with the attendant watching T.V. and recieving patrons. There was also a lot of street noise with sirens and the bar across the road. In terms of value for money, this is not a bad hotel. Where you might save money on the rate, you will spend taking taxis at night.

Hotel Ducale was one of the nicer hotels we stayed in during this visit to Italy. The bathroom in our room was my favorite out of all of the hotels we stayed in. We had a room located on the top floor next to only one other room. We had our own terrace. It was just lovely. The staff were helpful. The only thing I didn't like was the location. It was near a few restaurants. The area looked like it was the Chinatown of Rome. Unfortunately the metro stop closest to the hotel was closed during our stay. The walk from the train station is longer than stated. Otherwise, great place to stay. Loved our room!

Good service from the staff. Smallish rooms, but I guess that's fairly typical of European hotels. Bathrooms are surprisingly big and well-kept.

The room was narrow but clean and comfortable. Surroundings of the hotel are quiet except for the early morning. The tube (underground) is at 10 min walking, Termini Station is a bit more distant. Breakfast price is not included in the daily fee!!! It cos

Clean, old-world charm, but wow, the noise we heard from nearby street was very loud. That was about he only negative, but a big one when it comes to sleep!
