This 3-star small and elegant hotel is perfectly situated in the historical heart of Rome just a few steps away from the Trevi fountain. A comfortable accommodation with all modern comforts and a lovely courtyard, in a quiet yet central location from where the historical centre can be easily explored on foot. ***LOCATION***The hotel is located in the city centre of Rome, near Barberini square, Trevi fountain and within 10-minute walk from the famous Spanish steps and designer boutiques of Via Condotti. Although situated in the busy central area, the hotel is in a quiet side street away from the noise and crowds. There are many buses and a metro station (Barberini) only 5 mins walk, from where the railway station Termini with direct connections to airports is only 2 metro stops away. There are many shops, bars and restaurants in the hotel's proximity and lively nightlife in the surrounding area.***EXTERIOR*** The property is a 5-storey modern building with a pale pink coloured facade. The hotel has a pleasant garden courtyard, perfect for unwinding with a drink after a long day of sightseeing. ***ROOMS*** Rooms are small to medium-sized. They are nicely decorated in a traditional style and kept in excellent condition. The bathrooms are modern and well-maintained. ***RESTAURANTS &, BARS*** There is no restaurant in the hotel. Continental buffet breakfast is served in the breakfast room from 7.00 to 10.00 every morning. Breakfast can also be served in rooms upon request.

    The Hotel De Petris was a great hotel with very nice staff and a very good location. The rooms were spacious and clean and the hotel staff were helpful and very nice. We were delayed on our trip and arrived one day late but calling ahead to let the hotel know of our delay was not problem. For the price, this hotel was excellent.

    We had read some of the reviews on net and expected the rooms to be very small. They were not. Except for the elevator, which made us smile! The rooms were nice and clean, with enough space for us. And the location is just perfect! We will like to stay here again!

    excellent stay. rooms far better than expected GREAT value. staff was splendid. will stay again! we were in newer suites across st. only prob. no phone in room (most likely last part of renovat. job) & keys to enter/exit bldg. bit of a hassle - but WELL WORTH small inconven. HIGHLY recommend this place.

    This hotel is in a great location, a couple minutes walk away from the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon. It is also steps away from the metro line 'A' stop 'Barberini'. Best of all each room has air conditioning. We stumbled upon this place by accident desperate for AC during last summer's heat wave. We walked in and for a last minute double room in July they charged us 100 euros. The concierge was very helpful directing us and reserving a private car to take us back to the airport - much cheaper than a taxi. I believe it is a 3 star hotel. The cheaper room was a little small but how much time do you spend in your room anyway?! Because of this central location we walked to every site in Rome.

    Location is very good, well connected but not too close to the Termini station. Price was ok considering the prices in Rome. It's on a quiet street so traffic don't bother too much. Shower leaked a bit but in general the room was clean and ok. Breakfast was also better than expected. I would recommend this hotel and visit again.

    very small, nice hotel. Excellent located very near to the trevi-fountains and underground station. I would go there again.

    +location of the hotel . it is in the middle of the city -breakfast may be better

    It does not reflect what was advertised, can be rated as a 2 stars hotel. Will look for better option next time.
