Beautiful and amazing We had read a few negative reviews online about this hotel and was quite nervous about staying there, we were relieved to find a top quality, classy hotel with staff that couldn't do enough for us and were very friendly. The only downside was the very expensive drinks and food although they were around the same price as in central Rome! The pool area was fab with complimentary sun beds/mattress and big yellow towels, the area can get shaded by the tall trees around the pool and one needs to move beds throughout the day to stay in the sun. We recommend to get breakfast included in your trip as it is expensive as an extra, however all that said, this is a lovely place to stay, ask for a pool view room as the road side is quite noisy with the window open although the air con was very good and we kept the window closed. The shuttle bus to the Spanish Steps each day is excellent but make sure you book your seat for each day/evening.We will definately use this hotel again, thanks Aldrovandi Palace.

We were very impressed by the level of service accorded, much better than any we have experienced from similar starred hotels in Europe. The front desk staff that checked us in personally showed us to our rooms, a very nice touch. Anything we asked for was delivered very promptly and with great courtesy. The Michelin starred restaurant which we ate at was good, but rather on the expensive side, but once again, service was faultless. Our room was extremely clean and the housekeeping service each day excellent, never skimping on detail. I loved the crisp white bed linen which was changed daily without fail, and the night turn down service was unparalleled. I won't describe it here but suffice it to say that I have never encountered such attention to detail, even in the more lavish 5 starred hotels in Asia which are renowned for their high quality rooms and service. The only real draw back to this hotel is its location, which requires either a 15 minute walk through the burghs gardens or for you to catch the hotel shuttle. This 15 minute walk is not a problem during broad daylight, but trying to do that after dark is like playing Russian roulette. We had a close call the one time we attempted it. The hotel shuttle is often full at peak times, and returning from the Spanish steps where it is supposed to pick you up from can be a bit of a hit and miss, as we found out on several occasions.

Beautiful hotel. The service was wonderful, the rooms were meticulous and the Hotel is in a quiet neighborhood next to the Borghesse Gardens and close enough the main attractions in the city if you don't mind walking a little. Wish I could go back again!!!

Great Hotel but the Amenities The Borghese museum and villa are a 15 mintue walk from the hotel. They have some of the best statuary and paintings in the world, but tickets only get you a few hours in the museum. Get tickets in advance, and arrive early to leave time to check your bag so you can maximize the few hours you have. Their tour guides are very good, too. Leave time to walk through the grounds behind the museum which are beautiful.

My family and I stayed at this hotel prior to our departure on a Mediterranean cruise. While our stay at this hotel was very pleasant prior to the cruise, our treatment when we returned for our last night in Rome was simply abominable. When we...
