Nice and not expensive hotel in good place to make sigh-seeing in Roma. Very near to bus and train. Everytime to reach. Everything was really fine and we were very satisfied and have a nice stay. The room (4 beds) was small but clean and nice decorated. The bathroom was extremly small but also really clean and it was finally not a problem for us to organize a shower for 4 people. The terrace on the roof is nice with many flowers but it could be some better prepared for longer stay there. Pity that there is any possibilty to drink a coffee in a hotel f.e. on the terrace but you find many possibilty to do it around the hotel. Around the hotel are also many restaurant where you can eat something and it is not that expensiv. Also at night you always find possibilty to get some food. It is not o luxury hotel but for this price worth to recomend. Good price/quality relationship.

My experience at this hostel was very bad. They gave me a room that I was not offered from what I was able to see on the web. It was on a different building, the room was dirty, the bathroom was poorly maintain. No toilette paper, even after I requested the front desk twice. Overall this Hostel should not be advertised in this web page. I was charged 89.00 euros for a room that was worth 15.00 euros

There was often no one at the front desk and doors were locked. There was no air conditioning so had to open the windows but it was very very loud as everyone opens their windows and apartments are close together. It was a rough neighborhood. Would not suggest this be on your website.

We stayed at this hotel for four nights in February 2006 and were very disappointed with the hotel. The worst thing was definitely the bathroom. The shower didn't drain properly so there was a constant bath of water in the bottom of the shower. Also, the shower spurted out in such a way that the entire bathroom became soaked during a shower. The floor became extremely slippery. I also found the male staff to be very unhelpful. During one day, I asked a male staff member if our towels could be changed and he told me to see a female staff member. The towels were disguisting pieces of strange rag that were fraying around all the edges. We were also made to pay for all four nights upon check-in, while Venere advertises that customers pay upom check-out. We were extremely disappointed in this hotel and recommend that you stay somewhere else in Rome.

It was hard to find the man who runs it and who checks you in. We had to wait about 20 mins to get into our room. For the price and location to the train station, it was a good deal.

The location is a big plus! The room was fine, but the bathroom, or really the shower needs a different form of curtain.

On our night of arrival we took a cab to the hotel. Maria, who spoke pretty good english, and had a GREAT disposition, told us the people who were supposed to vacate our room, did not. So we ended up being driven by her husband to another hotel a few blocks away. Then the next morning were told to let the new hotel know to call Maria and they would come and get us, which they did. Both hotels are "european" as espected, so be prepared. The bathroom is small and no real room to walk around in the room, so suitcases on the floor can be a problem. We had a triple room, so we zipped up suitcases and night and opened them in the morning. The room was decorated nice. Only problem was the bathroom smelled like mold. It was VERY powerful, so we had to close the door each time so the room would not smell. Great location, few blocks from the Termini (train station) and central to walk to places. Overall we got what we paid for.

The hotel is in an excellent location, easy walking distance to some of Rome's best sights and near great spots for eating and drinking. It's a little ostentatiously decorated, but the building it's in is off a quaint courtyard which is quite rustic and interesting. It's perfect for the budget traveller who's looking for somewhere safe, clean and easy to get to, but still with a little bit of character. Buses from the airport go directly to the central Train Station which is a couple of minutes walk from the hotel. There are several excellent cafe's nearby for breakfast or nightcaps after a long day's sightseeing. One important point - the shared bathroom was scrupulously clean. Not a bad little place at all.

, staff was super. Staff was amazingly helpful! Provided maps and detailed explanations of subway and bus lines. Helped even in finding cheap markets, restaurants, everything. Lodi was a ten or fifteen minute walk from subway line which took one anywhere in the city. . definitely recommend this place highly you anyone

nicer roooms than expected after looking at web. we were very pleased with our rooms, although they were not spacious. close to the train and bus station, with connections to everywhere in the city. a bit to far to walk from the hotel at all times. but again - perfect location from the trainstattion and the train to and from the airport.
