Having booked this Hotel via the internet and was particularly taken by the online photos, I will admit that when my wife and I arrived we thought that the taxi had made a mistake and dropped us at the wrong place! - unfortunatly he didn't!!!.

Do not book at this hotel or you will be extremely disappointed. The hotel claims it is a 5 star but is only worthy of a one star. It is dirty, outdated and in need of a significant rehab. The service was horrible - everything from requesting additional towels, to trying to check in and check out. There are no redeeming qualities about this hotel except for the location. But for the price of this hotel, there are many others that are much less expensive that are much newer, cleaner and nicer.

MY WIFE AND I SPENT 8 WONDERFULL DAYS AT THE PLAZA AND WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO ANYBODY. IT IS WALKING DISTANCE TO EVERYTHING. THE STAFF WAS GREAT AND THE FOOD IN THE BAR WAS GOOD. WE WOULD GO BACK IN A HEART BEAT.

Beautiful hotel, perfectly located in Rome, definitely a place for a bit of luxury although would break the budget to stay for a long time. A couple of nights or one night splurge makes it perfect!

In a full week at the hotel - staff refused to clean our room once and had to continually be asked for supplies (toilet paper), the shower drain kept backing up, and bags of dirty laundry were always left outside our door. Not a nice place to honeymoon.
