This hotel was absolutely wonderful. It is situated about a 15 minute walk from the Vatican on a hill overlooking Rome. Very quiet and very peaceful yet easy to access Rome. The view of Rome just a few steps down from the hotel at the park was fabulous. The rooms were gorgeous and the breakfasts fabulous. The pool was a great hit with the kids, though they all had to wear swim caps (which were available for purchase at the front desk). The staff was delightful and very helpful.

Enjoyable a friendly place Taxis booked via the hotel can get you in a few minutes into the centre of Trestevere area with nice squares and plenty of restraunts. Some great ones in the side streets that are cheeper but often better quality food.

I was travelling with my 11 year old son. We enjoyed our stay. The breakfast buffet was very good. The staff were always ready to help and there was always someone around who spoke English. Our only small gripe was that we would have liked twin beds not a double. The area is a bit workaday Rome but the walk down into Trastevere doesn't take long and there is the most amazing view to look at on the way. I would recommend this hotel to travellers who are looking for somewhere comfortable and quiet, reasonably priced but not too far out of the centre. Nice in summer, with own garden and pool and surrounded by parks. Parents of young children should be aware there is no pavement outside the hotel entrance and traffic can be busy.

+The hotel was not too far off of the beaten path. -The room was right off of the hotel lobby and they were renovating. I heard everything going on all night. Also, the rooftop view that is boasted is currently being turned in to a restaurant so if that's one of the reasons you are booking, you will be disappointed.

Lovely pool Change your money to Euros in the UK, the exchange rate in Rome was abysmal.

The hotel and surroundings are beautiful, it is just such a shame that they don't have a good desk staff as well. One gentleman in particular was rude and quite put out at just the slightest question. Our room was like an oven and when we couldn't get the AC to come on, we were told that they control it at the desk. We asked if they would please turn it up for us (twice) but they never did. My advice, stay elsewhere!

'A haven from the heat of the City' We were in Rome for just 4 nights so wanted to get the most out of our trip. We would recommend booking a guided tour of the Vatican and museums as they are so vast. Our guide was so knowledgeable and entertaining and we didn't have to join the queue that stretched 500m even at 0900am. Wear really comfortable shoes and there are drinking fountains everywhere where you can refil your water bottles. We would recommend booking any tours beforehand.

A delightful hotel, although slightly out of the way for cafes and restaurants. The surrounding hotel gardens were beautiful and relaxing after the bustle of the City. The staff were very helpful and obliging and spoke very good English.
