+ Excellent hotel although the street is not the most pleasant however metro stop is less than one minute away which is so easy to use for getting around the city, i stayed in the superior room and i thought the room was great value, breakfast was brilliant and i was rather displeased when i had to miss it one morning due to an early start for a trip to pompei(must go)

The facility, staff, and service were all top notch. The breakfast was outstanding, and the access to the internet was free and available. The location was in a seedy neighborhood. It was convenient to the Rome subway (only 1 block away) and to the train station, but not really in an Italian neighborhood, and the location was definitely the low rent district. I never felt unsafe, but had no desire to spend any time in the neighborhood.

The rooms are European small but with a big bathroom. The personal specially helpful. The area around the Hotel graffitied and many Hindu and African refugees as well as the stores around. The Lobby small but friendly and the dinning and bar very nice.

Highly Recommended Fuimicino Airport is quite a way out of the centre of Rome. We used the Leonardo Express train which is a direct route straight into Termini station. From here we walked (10mins)or caught the tram (2mins)to get to Ambra Palace. The hotel does offer a shuttle bus direct to Fiumicino Airport but we thought that the 60euros was quite pricey compared with 22euros (11 each) for the train.

Nice location & friendly staff This hotel is located just a few blocks from the Termini and is very convenient to the Metro which is just around the block. The rooms were clean but a bit overheated (We were there in December). We couldn’t really figure out the thermostat. The rooms are also typically European sized which means a bit on the small side by US standards. It’s on a pretty busy street and there was a fair bit of street noise. The immediate location is a bit "china townish" so lots of small stores selling cheap tchotckes. The interior was very nice and the service was really good. The staff was unfailingly helpful.
