+ Hotel location was great, most of the hotel staff was helpful and nice, farily clean accomodations - No hotel staff available most of the evenings, one evening we needed to arrange a wake up call and because we were speaking broken italian, they kept hanging up on us. very rude! no staff to answer questions early in the morning or evening. remodeling effort in process, half of the room painted, the other half spakled and dirty-looking.

+ Clean room, close to vatican and restaurants - Would not even replace bulb in bedside lamp, harassed for paying by cash , broken fittings in room, breakfast area was just part of reception, it could have been used for a storage cupboard.

    - Staff did not speak english so when i wanted to check out it took ages. also i was told that i need to pay more as i used a card, althought i had already booked my hotel on internet. we did not have hot water on one of the days and when i asked for another room or discount for the night i was ignored. in sum, staff was rude and takes commission on recommending bad bars or restaurants. i would not recommend this hotel. breakfast: small roll and coffee. rooms close to reception so you can hear phones ringing.

+ Great location as near the vatican - Staff were not friendly and when we went to check out, cash was demanded as opposed to credit card and the lady had little english. we had trouble finding a bancomat nearby that worked to get the cash for her and found ourselves going to extra trouble when we assumed the credit card would be accepted. breakfast room is tiny and not much on offer. rooms also very small

+ The hotel is in an excellent location. the woman on the desk the first night was extremely helpful and polite and staff generally was okay. the room was nicely decorated, extremeley clean and the bed was very confortable. - The hotel only has one small boiler to heat 9 rooms and the breakfast area which is impossible. the hotel needs to have an upgrade to ensure hot water in the morning for all customers not just the early risers at night owls. the only time i had a hot shower in the 3 day stay was at 5am on our last day. one other point, the hotel signage is not clearly marked and the directions from the map on the website need to be clearer.

+ After staying in a dreadful hotel in rome we looked on your website and found this fabulous hotel - family run pleasant and just a few minutes from the main shopping area and the vatican.

Excellent location just about 800 yards from the Vatican with good access to everywhere worth visiting without having to travel long journeys in to the city each day. With hindsight, I would have hired a car at Ciampino on arrival rather than pay 50E taxi to hotel and then same back 3 days later for onward car hire for southern trip to Amalfi coast, pompei before returning car to Ciampino 5 days later.
