Better than expected Hotel is a few blocks away from main area's ( whilst close to the termini) and would look for something more central next time.

+ Walking distance to trevi fountain, spanish steps and keats' house. very nice pizza place opposite. - We asked for a late check out, first it was 25 euros someone then said later it would be 50 euros and then it was settled at 35, so if someone says 50 to you say well someone else said 25 and then the should drop the price, like nearly everyone we experienced in rome they try to rip you off... plus the internet on the t.v didn't work nor could you buy movies to watch or extra chanels, so we only really watched sky news, as the other english speaking news channel, bbc, was fuzzy and cut out alot. i notified the receptionist of this the very first day and he just shrugged and asked me what i expected him to do. i asked him if he might fix it or get somebody that could and he just shrugged again and said there was nothing he could do. i probablly wouldn't use this hotel again.

The only way to make a reservation at this Hotel would be to walk in to the reception and ask if they had any rooms available!....if you book it with any Internet Booking agency you will most likely arrive at the Hotel and be told "Sorry, we do not appear to have your booking" After consulting an online travel site prior to making my journey but after making an online booking, I even contacted the Hotel directly to see if they had a confirmed booking. Their email duly stated that a room was booked for 3 nights and I was arriving late so I set off fully expecting no problems when I arrived. No prizes for guesing what happened next! They tried to fob me off with a sister Hotel down the road at 10 in the evening (Baileys Hotel, mentioned in other reviews)after arriving on a late flight......Oh no you're not says I......after about an hour coming and going on the telephone to various managers I was finally given a room, but not before a considerable amount of distress was experienced by myself and my wife. If you havn't got a strong personality and feel confident about coping with a situation such as this don't book this Hotel...but then again, even if you have, why would you want to go through this scenario when their are 100's of other Hotels in Rome which won't give you this hassle!!

I was assigned a room that was 1 foot in every direction from the bed.I had to move my suitcase to close the door and get into the washroom.I caught a glimpse of the room next door on the way out next day and it was 2 to 3 times bigger than mine.
