Ferraro

Via Cavour 266 - 00184 Rome

Hotel Ferraro enjoys an excellent location right in the centre of Rome, on via Cavour, a few metres only from the Fori Imperiali majestic Roman archaelogical site, the Colosseum and Piazza Venezia. The property is a strategic starting point to discover Rome's historic centre with its countless churches, monuments, and museums of rare beauty. The hotel is housed on the second floor of an early 20th century Umbertino-style building, and offers a comfortable atmosphere. The reception desk is open 24 hours a day and a friendly and welcoming staff will be pleased to give you information on the main events and attractions of this outstanding city.

Staff attitude and welcoming, accommodation and location was excellent on our trip. However, having to travel outside the hotel for breakfast (a plain croissant and coffee!) and reception facilities was poor practice. I would highly recommend this hotel

On our first trip to Rome, it was nice to have a hotel so close to the Colosseum and other tourist attractions. The hotel was a short walk from the Colloseo subway stop and close to many good tratorrias and outdoor restaurants. The room was small, but it was expected since it is in such a large city. The woman at the desk was very friendly but spoke very little English (enough to get by, though). The only problem we had was that the shower would go from ice cold to scolding hot in a instant and back again. It was nice to move on to the next city and have a normal shower. Other than that, i would definitely recommend this hotel

I would highly recommend this hotel for a quick, budget trip to Rome. Its not for the luxary traveller, while it boasts cleanliness, relative comfort and excellent ensuite facilities (good hot showers, spacious bathroom, etc.) Great value for money - I would definately stay there again!

We were lucky to find the hotel ( located in the 2nd floor of a house with no "ferrero" sign). If You´re with car , there is no parking place . If you find one by wonder , your car will be locked by motorrollers within seconds.Even there are good windows , the rooms are very noisy. All night long. The breakfast , 3streets to walk with a guide in a cafe , is very poor. We didn´t take it the 2nd day. But the location of the hotel is in the centre ,good for walking all sights without car or public traffic. Summary : if you need a hotel in the center of rome , with a bathroom where the door don´t work, very noisy and with a poor breakfast, you got it here.
