Excellent location and service The level of service offered at the Empire Palace is quite simply excellent. The rooms (although small) are beautifully attended to and the staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Breakfast is very good! The location is second to none - 10 mins walk from Termini - and with all of the city's major attractions easy reached. Very much recomended.

Would never stay here again. Bad location, not close to anything, must take a cab everywhere. Service was awful. Had promised to set up tours and never did. Sink and Tub did not drain. Front desk personnel were not friendly at all.

Best Hotel Experience! This hotel was excellent! We had a room with a queen sized bed. The room service was extraordinary - our room was cleaned twice everyday. We would come back to our room in the afternoon and it would be cleaned, then after we left and returned in the evening, we would find it cleaned and stocked with fresh towels again! We never had to use the same towels twice. We did enjoy this but it's a bit of a concern for the environment. The only complaint about our room was that it was a tad on the small side. There was only a narrow path on each side of the bed and the shower was really small. The breakfast that was included was delicious. The buffet had fresh fruit, cold meats, cheeses, cakes and pastries, bread & cereals, yogurt, scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns, sausage, hard boiled eggs, juices, water, coffee, cappuncinos, hot chocolate, tea, etc. I would definitely stay there again! Oh, but be prepared to walk further. The website indicated that it was much closer to the sights than it actually was. And to get back, there is a slight uphill climb. Something we wished we didn't have to do after a full day of walking.

You could eat off the floor From the linen sheets through the uniformed staff (the doorman wears a top hat) this in-city hotel is a small luxury boutique close to the tour company who picks you up in 2 minutes. They let me check in early to crash after my incoming flight. Desk staff was very helpful in straightening out a previous tour error. To/from airport service handled quickly. My single room was small but big enough, bathroom big and all marble. Traveler's tip on dining Included breakfast is great and extensive; Bar/lounge has live music, only average dinner is expensive.

Lovely Hotel Just returned from Rome for my 40th. The hotel was great. Staff were very helpful and the hoel was 4 star. Rooms are not massive but as expected in Italy.

The room was slightly smaller than in typical U.S. 4-star hotels, but with excellent furnishings and fixtures. Service was very good. Altogether a good choice, well worth the money.
