Di Rienzo
Via Principe Amedeo 79/A - 00185 Rome
Hotel Di Rienzo is centrally located in Rome, housed in an Umbertino-style building, close to the Termini railway station, where a frequent train service is available for all the major Italian and European cities as well as for the airport. Nearby the property, you will find great monuments, such as the magnificent Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore and the National Roman Museum, together with numerous shops, bars and restaurants. The hotel is therefore the perfect starting point to discover the main city's attractions. The owner can arrange sightseeing tours of Rome or the surroundings.

We were a group of 8 staying for 3nights/4days.To say the least we very impressed with the standard of accomodation. The B B was well located and you could walk there from the termi station in need. The rooms were spacious in spotless condition. The outdoor area was a bonus.Lovely garden with enclosed patio where breakfast was served.Brekky was plentiful with juice,pastriestea/coffee etc. There was also a communal kitchen with fridge, stove, sink and adeqate supplies to make your own drinks. The staff were very helpful and friendly although English was limited.WE would have no hestitation in recommending it to other travellers. We would definetly stay here again

The owner is an interesting character, but we warmed to him. The directions to get there were incorrect, something like its a right, not a left on the actual road they're on. Anyway, I though 75euro was a bit steep for a en-suite room. Overall, an average stay experience, I wouldnt recommend it.

The hotel has a good location i.e. near to Termini and within walking distance to some local attractions. However, we weren't too happy with the customer service... We needed to take a taxi to the airport to fly to Venice and when we enquired about taxi charges, the lady at the recption quoted 60 euros and asked us to pay her and not the taxi driver, which we found to be quite suspicious. Later when we went to the taxi stand they said that the fixed charges for a transfer to the airport was 30 euros. So, please don't trust the hotel to give an honest quote or advice. There are lots of places near the Termini and its advisable to ask around.
