Derby

The Derby is a useful base for visitors to the south of Rome, such as the exhibition and trade fair centre. The rooms are not particularly spacious, but they are comfortable and spotlessly clean. Throughout my stay, the staff were attentive, courteous and helpful. If staying in the height of luxury with spectacular views is not top of your agenda, the Derby is worth considering.

Hotel Derby has been a good choise for us for two reasons: -It's close to a friend of us -it's close to metro "Garbatella" (which is a nice suburb) and you can reach the City center in a few stops.

Good hotel, good place, near the metro at 2 or 3 stations from the center.

I am working for travel agency and used Derby for our business traveller, who reported his satisfaction particulary in respect of wanted locastion and acceptable price.

The only thing I would like to compain about is that in the room there was no possibility of taking a shower (only a bath in the bathtub, the shower was not working!). For the rest everything was really ok.

The breakfast is really poor!

We really recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the suburbs of Rome. The staffs are very helpful and kind. It is a bit far from the center but the Garbatella bus station is very close by. So it wasn't a problem for us.
