Compared to the "telephone booths" I stayed in in London and Paris, this was the Taj Majal! It was very nicely appointed, clean, and not difficult to get to public transportation. The breakfast buffet was more than adequate, and dinner in the dining room was very tasty and not high priced.

Comfortable and good value Taxi to and from airport is expensive! The Metro is 1km if walking but the 777 bus gets you there in a couple of minutes. You must buy a ticket before you get on the bus or Metro. Colloseum and Old City is the same entrance ticket, so plan to do both on the same day. Walk to see the Sistine Chapel is quite long for children, but well worth it for adults.

Good hotel but a bit distant to Rome city center When we first arrived, the staff who checked us in was a bit rude. He seemed to make himself always too busy for us. But he was an exception, the rest of the staffs we met during our stay were fantastic and helpful. The breakfast had quite a lot of variety, but the quality of the breads was rather bad; but overall it was bearable. Otherwise nothing else to complain! Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks Get the 3 day pass for the Rome metro system for transportation. If you are planning to also go to other cities in Italy, do not eat Gelatos in Rome, they are WAY overpriced as compared to other Italian cities such as Venice and Florence.

Superb service! Try and find a ticket office to buy the bus tickets ASAP- as on the weekends it can be difficult as a great deal of tabachi are closed at the weekend and tickets can't be purchased on all buses- and my best tip is probably to get the tourist ticket which lasts for 3 days- so its more cost effective too.

Really good hotel We stayed for 4 nights in July and it was great. It's a good location if you want to be outside the city centre, just a short bus and metro ride from the centre of Rome. Lovely pool. Drinks at the poolside bar bit on the expensive side though! There's a shopping mall right next door too!

It is an OK hotel. The best way to see the city is by getting around with public transportation. You can buy a day pass, a 3 day pass or a weekly pass that us valid for all city buses and metro.

Highly Recommended This hotel is a short walk from bus tranportation and access to the subway. Buy the 3 day mass transit ticket and use it for all your bus and subway transport to all of the attractions.

Not worth the savings We booked this hotel knowing that it was a little bit of a walk to the metro station and could save a bit. However, the hotel itself had a lot to be desired. The staff was unfriendly and not willing to help. The restaurant was closed with little options surrounding it (making the savings and walk not worth it). The breakfast offered no ’hot items’ as implied and the milk sat out to the point of being warm. The AC did not work and instead of fixing it while we were out - we had to ask again when we got back and were hot and tired (from the walk). The ’guide’ in the room was a poor quality single copy of paper with little helpful information. We had to ask all the time (but the staff did not want to help). I personally have run B&B’s several years and actually understand the business so I’m not a complainer - but this hotel really did not offer much and in the future I would prefer to spend a little bit more for a hotel that provides for or is closer to basic needs.

Would definatley go back!!! Go to the taxi rank at the airport, don't go with someone who approaches you. We paid 75 euros to get to our hotel when it should have only cost us 35 euros!!!
