Concorde is incorrectly located on the hotel's location map on Venere site as being close to Via Nazionale in Repubblica - Termini area. In reality it is about 4 blocks to the other direction on Via G. Amendola in Esquilino area in a crummy neighborhood (In the same building is another Venere hotel called Ferrari which gives you the correct location on their map - found out just now). Sure, the hotel is close to Termini which can be a huge advantage. But luckily this is not the only hotel there. In front of the building people were selling drugs. The bed was infested with bugs. The air condition worked fine. The breakfast, plain milk coffee and a roll two blocks away was pathetic. For the price at that location it was a rip off. Will never stay at this hotel again. Cannot recommed.

This was our last hotel stay on a two week vacation I had with my 24 year old daughter. The hotel facility did not look like the picture. There were groups of people smoking and drinking in the stairways and hallways. When we came home Sunday evening from dinner at 11:00 p.m. there was a man passed out on the stairway outside the reception area that we had to step over to get into the hotel. We told the reception desk that there was someone passed out in the hallway and the man shrugged his shoulders and waved us away. The room was noisy from inside hotel noise more so than outside noise. In the morning we had requested a cab to take us to the airport. The receptionist told us it would be $50.00 but when the cab driver arrived, he and the receptionist got into a screaming match. The cab driver started to leave and the receptionist came around the desk, pushed me into the stair railing to go after the cab driver - another man broke it up. I was never so happy to leave a hotel. This was the only poor - or I should say terrible hotel experience we had on our entire trip. I would not consider staying there again, even if it was free.

A group a person has made noise in public area until 12h00 pm, noone from the hotel has asked them to be quiet. The room was as described on the web page. Breakfast correct, provided in a bar outside from the hotel.

on arriving the staff were very friendly and efficient that is only positive thing about our stay. The rooms were described as recently refurbished our room must have been last decorated in the seventies, vinyl floors were dirty, the bathroom was so dirty we felt we had to shower in sandals. the toilet, shower and basin were on the same level with not even a curtain to separate the three. At 115 euro per night we found this to be extortionate for the quality we were given. We will definitly not be returning to the "enchanting" hotel concorde.

Our room was very dark with only one small light. The shower was not very nice. It was in the center of the toilet without any curtains so that after the shower there was water everywhere in the bathroom. We where staying only one night in hotel Concorde and it was ok, but I never would choose it to spend there more than one night.

The hotel is on the 5th and 6th floor (with a lift) of a building very close to the main railway station and bus terminus. The rooms are basic and could be improved with just a couple of framed postcards. My room was very dull. Having said that, you're not in Rome to look at the fours walls of your room. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Although breakfast was included, you have to go out of the hotel and along the road to a cafe for it but it's not the end of the world. If you need cheap, central and clean accomodation, Concorde will serve the purpose. It's not glam but I would certainly go back and use it as a base.

Cheap hotel but value for money and very central to the station. Only real comment is that the directions to access the hotel were very misleading - no signs that I saw for Santa Maria Maggiore and I ended up getting a cab - despite the fact that the hotel is literally two minutes from the station! Better directions would be "from the airport train exit the station as facing the front of the station on the right handside and the hotel is just off one of the small roads across the street" A better map would be very useful!

The hotel was in a convenient location for transportation. The room was quiet, but hot. Though there was an air conditioner control in the room, the compressor had been turned off, so it only controlled the fan. Overall, it represented good value.
