The Claridge is a small but upscale hotel in a beautiful neighborhood, with big trees, pleasant shops, small eateries and even a supermarket nearby. The place has a modern-Europe feel. Clean, understated. Rooms are airy and have little balconies. Laid-back, no-fuss staff. Not close to tourist attractions, but they are readily accessible.

Good location near to tram / bus and approx 20 mins from Metro but you could get a bus to any of the city sites so that really did not matter. Great hotel and the turkish bath/steam room was needed after 2 days site seeing. Good continental breakfast and a friendly bar service in the evening. Clean rooms and all the facilities you could need, will definately stay there ther next time I am in Rome.

Location a little remote, although transport links are reasonable. Limited choice of restaurants in the vicinity of the hotel.
