Very good location. We are walkers and liked that it was in a residential neighborhood and was quiet. The hostess was terrific and tended to our every need. Would prefer a walled in shower with doors instead of the shower curtain which would cling to you. The smaller showers of Europe are not a surprise, just don't like the clingy shower curtain. One other guest had mentioned a mirror, and it would be nice to have a mirror in the room other than the small one in the bath.

Wonderful stay at Casa Giovy 5mins walk to St Peters and take the #64 bus to get into Rome from stop just in front of the tunnel. Also if you have not planned everything I recommend hopping on one of the tour buses (eg. the 110 open double deckers) from the other side of St Peters to get a trip with commentary around the major attractions of Rome - then you can decide where you want to stop off and spend more time.

What a gem! Can't say enough good things about this place; from the location, to the personal touches, to the good food, but most of all the owner/hostess was absolutely a delight. It's less than a 10 min. walk to St. Peter's, less than a 5 min. walk to a metro (train) station, she arranged for a driver to pick us up from the airport, she thoughtfully left us a midnight snack (we arrived at about 11 pm), and the owner herself was so personable that it felt "homey". There's not enough space to write the details, Highly recommended!

Great location! Can't wait to go back! If you're tired at the end of the day, order a pizza from the restaurant around the corner and take it to go, and, while they cook it, walk next door to the winery house and grab a bottle of wine. It has a great selection and affordable prices.
