It is always worth checking out their website as prices are given in euros so if the exchange rate is good at the time you may get a good deal - plus they do special rates for certain occasions such as Valentines night when a room is only approx 180 euros for two including breakfast in bed. However if you prefer, there are numerous tour operators that sell this hotel.

Wonderful service The hotel was in a great location, near the ruins and had a number of restaurants nearby for meals. The staff went above and beyond to be helpful. We arrived for checkin 4 hours early - they did not have our room ready yet, but let us stay in another smaller room to shower and rest up after the overnight flight. They ordered tours and personal cars for us and were helpful in every way possible.

The Hotel Capo d'Africa is situated a 5 minute walk from the Colosseum,Forum and several must see churches. With the METRO a similar distance away, all of historic Rome can be easily reached from this wonderful hotel.

Comfortable Hotel near Colloseum and Forum Buy a Roma pass for 3 day public transport and free tickets to two sites/museum, so no waiting in line at the Colloseum.

Very nice room. Nice people. Very good location. Quiet. Near the Coloseum. Walking distance from many of the must-see places. But not out in the traffic. Clean neighborhood (Rome is dirty and filled with grafitti).

Absolutely top class hotel with probably the most caring and attentive staff I have encountered. No hesitation in recommending it to everyone. It's not especially cheap but considering what you sometimes get for the same price (or even more) it is great value.

I have been to this hotel twice for week long stays. It is located about a block away from the Coloseum. The rooms are very nice and modern, service was great, lots of little restaurants in the area - great breakfast!

A brilliant hotel very close to the Colosseum... If you are arriving into Rome at Termini Train Station, a taxi for 2, with suitcases as they charge extra for each one, to and from the hotel should cost no more than 13-15 Euros. The drivers, even the 'official' drivers, will quote you anything upwards of 25 Euros but stand your ground or simply move on to the next one.
