Our recent and homely residential village/hotel is for guests who prefer quietness and comfort, away from the down town noise. Located in the country, up on a hill, between the Appia Park (Ancient Appia road) and the famous Sanctuary of Our Lady of Divine Love. Also easily reachable by car being just by the Eternal City’s immediate outskirts, right off exit 24, “Ardeatina” of Rome’s Ring Highway (Grande Raccordo Anulare/G.R.A.). Ciampino Airport is only 4,5 kms. away. We’re also next to Rome’s most important Golf course and a horse-back riding club.In our complex, wall-fenced, guarded and with a large parking lot, we can host, from 1 up to 7 people, daily, nightly, weekly, monthly, short and long term guests who can choose, among our 65 different accomodations, the flat, mini-apartment or apartment house, more suitable to their comfort. All are finely furnished and each one has its own heating, air conditioning, T.V, bath, refrigerator and cooking facilities, also having, most of them, a fireplace, balcony or garden. In the village/hotel/residence ground there are 3 tennis courts where our guests can play until late at night, an olympic size pool, or have a drink in our Club-House watching a large screen Plasma-TV or by the big fireplace.

+ Bernard(o) was the complex manager. he was great. he always had the right advise to give in any circumstance. the rooms are all tile floors throughout. everything is clean and organized. pool is great, tennis courts great. temparature up on the hill was perfect. - You need to rent a car when staying at borgo del poggio. taxi fairs are astronomical, 1 taxi ride = 1 day car rental.

+ Helpful friendly staff. apartment was clean and adequate as we only stayed for a couple of nights. location was good for main routes if you had a car. - Poor entrance signs from the road, followed by no signs for reception! shown to a two bedroomed apartment when i booked a three bedroomed apartment, however couldn't complain due to language constraints! poor facilities within the apartment, only one glass between four of us! no tin opener, not enough plates or bowls.

+ Nice pool - No one spoke english, so ordering a taxi to collect me at 4.15am was difficult. they charged 80 euros for the journey, the day before i had caught a taxi and paid 20 euros. beds had bed bugs and the kids got bitten to pieces. trek to supermaket if you have no car along a very busy road.
