The B/W Canada is very convenient to Termini station (10 min walk max), plus there is a Metro stop less than a block away. Like other European hotels the elevator is very small, but that is the only "down" thing I can think of. The breakfast was the

This hotel is only about 5 blocks from Termini station, very easy to walk to and access the metro/buses and trains. There is a metro stop just around the corner which is very convenient (but lots of steps if you have luggage). The rooms are large as is the bathroom. More than ample towels, the ones near the tub/shower are almost bath sheet size. There is also a pair of slippers (packaged) provided for your use. Even though we faced the street, heard barely any noise through the windows when they were closed. This hotel had the best A/C we encountered in Italy. Most had very little power. The breakfast is very good and includes scrambled eggs, meats, cheeses, cereals, yogurt, fruit, breads, croissants (plain and sweet) as well as cakes. The elevator is small as are all those we have encountered in Europe. There is free access to a computer in the bar area once you optain a password from the registration desk. The bar is open every afternoon and evening and they have free snacks. The hotel is very clean and front desk people very helpful. Would definately come back here, in fact we did once we "scoped out" the hotel we had reserved for our return trip to Rome. It was on the other side of Termini (scary looking).

Hotel Canada was a fantastic hotel, the staff are very friendly and the location is excellent. The main train station is only a 5 min walk away and all the sights are within walking distance. The hotel is very clean and has a lovely atmosphere. There are also many very reasonable restaurants 2 minutes from the hotel. The breakfast buffet provided by the hotel is great with lots of options. Both myself and my mum had a wonderful time in Rome and we will definitely be back to stay in Hotel Canada. 10 out of 10.

Huge rooms, spotless, comfortable, good breakfast with friendly staff. Location is super near the train station and Metro. I'd stay there again. The front desk person spoke perfect English and was good looking and elegant on top of that.

I have stayed in a lot of hotels in Rome over the past 10 years and this is by far and above the nicest place yet! It is a real value for the money, as the place is convenient to the train station, but on the nicer side of it, and it is everything a small Italian hotel should be. Every ceiling is frescoed, each room decorated beautifully, and every little comfort and amenity has been thought of. The staff, especially the bellman, Alessandro, is exceptionally helpful and welcoming. The buffet breakfast is the best I've had in all the hotels I've stayed in while in Italy! This is the hotel for me in Rome!
