Hotel was top notch. The staff were friendly and helpful in getting directions to attractions and restaurants. They even drew the way on a map for us. Breakfast was plentiful. Only drawback was the turndown service did not leave chocolates on...

Helpful and courteous staff. Our room was small but very nice. I liked the location-it was walking distance to most things and close to the Metro for those too far to walk to. Breakfast was good too!

+ Great location, good room size and facilities and very helpful/friendly staff - Piazza Barberini is a realtively loud square, and despite thick double-glazing, some traffic noise is noticeable on 1st Floor

+ Great area. spacious, comfortable room. - The web photo made me think the hotel had a grand facade on the square. guy on reception tried to get me to book a 55euro car to the airport and would not tell me how to get a normal taxi. i found the rank 50 metres away myself.

Great small hotel. Very easy to get to metro, bus, major attractions and shopping. Very good and helpful staff. good restaurant recommendations, Piazza has some noise, but the double pane windows make the rooms quite. Great breakfast each morning.

We needed a room for our only night in Rome, and wanted to be near the Spanish Steps and not too far from the train station; Hotel Barocco fit the bill perfectly. Very convenient location on a small side street just off the Piazza Barberini. We asked for and received a very quiet, non-smoking room at the back of the property. Room was small, especially given the price. Very nice breakfast. Very helpful staff recommended the nearbyTrattoria Tritone -- one of the best meals we had in Italy and at a very reasonable price. Nearby Ciao Pizza was also very good.
