Most of all, they have to have some concept of hotel maintenance. For example, cleaning, repair, kindeness...so on. Anyway, if you have not enough money, you can choose this hotel. That's all....

I was very disappointed. This should have been a one star room but there were a few amenities (fridge, private bath, phone-which didn't work with my long distance card). Our bed was sloped downward on one side to the poin that my husband and I would roll to the edge and needed to sleep diagonally to stay on the bed. The towels were thin (worn out) and were never changed during our 3 night stay. Breakfast, which was supposed to be included, was not because the proprietor said not enough of his guests wanted to eat breakfast. This has NOT been my experience with other Venere hotels, those were great.

No breakfast was included in the price despite the fact it was mentioned on the confirmation email as B&B. Generally overpriced and alot of street noise.

Not happy at all!! Room was supposed to have telephone, minibar and A/C. It had a phone but no jack to plug it into.. minibar and A/C did not work. Was told I would have to pay more to have the A/C even though Venere stated that it was included. horrible place and terrible staff. Only good thing about it was the location.

I would advise people never to stay in this hotel. Having made a reservation for 3 rooms over the internet we arrived to find they had only 2 rooms available. We had to pay an addition €30 a night to stay at a hotel downstairs owned by his 'friend'. The couple who did stay in Azzurra had no hot water for the whole weekend. We were hassled to pay up front for the room which we declined the manager took this as amunition to be even more rude and unhelpful. The other staff we met in the hotel were so scary/dodgy looking I would not stay in my room on my own and worried about any items we'd left in our room. The TV in our room did not work as the whole socket had come away from the wall leaving bare wires sticking out from the wall.

The location is very central and surroundings very good, however I would not refer anybody to this hotel. The room was filthy, the service provided by the owners was rude and not welcoming and at night time they were very loud at the reception plus the noise from the streets keeping me awake. The morning I left I had to wake up the manager to pay as the lady did not know how to use the credit card machine and the manager was very grumpy and moaning about been up all night. Not good at all. I very much appreciate this space for my feedback as I am not happy with that hotel at all. Thank you very much for providing this space. C. Mendes

We were sorry to discover that the "hotel" is actually a facility that is being managed in a family style, and its rating was one star and not two. Next to our room, there was a kitchen, and we could clearly smell all the cookings and hear all the noises. The "breakfast" turned out to be coffee and a courason in the bar on the street. In one of the days, the bar was closed and we didn't have any breakfast (not to mention any compensation). On the last day, we left very early, without a breakfast, but yet they didn't consider the possibility of not charging us for the breakfast.

Hotel Azzurra's staff is friendly and helpful. Word to the wise, the hotel is located near the tunnel on a side street.
