Overall the hotel room was adequate for our needs whilst staying in Rome. The 'standard' room seemed quite small but was comfortable and clean. There was little of no interaction with Staff bar checking in and out. At times the hotel seemed deserted. The area surrounding the hotel is not pleasant at all, whilst it seems to be in a residential area it is about 20 minutes 'on the wrong side' of Termini. It is uncomfortable and unpleasant to walk from the Hotel to Termini or any other areas around the city. However the bus service (492) is very good once you work out that you need prepaid tickets (impossible to find!) or face a €101 fine.

The staff was very helpful, friendly and understanding of our needs. English was no problem. Room was very satisfactory. If you do not mind walking, this is a great place to stay. The train station outside is a disgrace though. This is not the hotels fault, just a lot of homeless people living on the street. It takes approx 15 min to walk to the train / subway from the hotel. Not hard to find your way after finding the hotel for the first time.

Excellent quality hotel at a reasonable price. Room clean and well serviced. Breakfast plentiful. Staff efficient and friendly. Travel to centre/sights easy by 492 bus 100m away every 10mins (forget the metro). Only downside is poor surrounding area (druggies and tramps at night).

The Club Quarters Rockefeller Center hotel was everything you can ask for in a trip to NYC. It is located as its name states right in Rockefeller Center. Radio City Music Hall is right across the street, and the today show is a minute away. It is...

If Rome for you is just piazza di Spagna, fontana di Trevi and the Colosseum, then this hotel is not for you. But if you want to try restaurants and pubs where the locals go, then you'll enjoy the San Lorenzo neighborhood. And you'll also get a much better room for the same money. The superior rooms are a size that you'll hardly find in Rome for this price, and, in general, the hotel has a well kept, modern and clean look as far as furnishing and bathroom fixtures. The venere web site has a problem though: it does not let you specify double with two small beds vs. "matrimoniale" (one big bed). I wanted a matrimoniale but ended up with a reservation for a room with two twin beds (in the end, they were able to accomodate my request when I showed up, but the reservation was inaccurate).

Arrived too early (12:30 p.m.) to check into room; when we returned after shopping at 4:30, bags were in the very roomy room -- actually a suite. Very clean, very friendly staff. Great location for theater and sightseeing. Highly recommend it.

Took my son for a long weekend -- location was outstanding! Very clean, prompt and friendly service. Would stay here again and have already recommended to others! Hop, skip, and a jump from Rockefeller Center.
