Very impressed overall Rome has probably the most history a city has with everthing from the Coloseum built in 75AD through the Roman Empire era including the Vatican State, the Spanish Steps and the famous Cistene Chapel which holds Michael Angelos famouse work of Art. Food is Pizza. pizza or pizza but can vary if you like.

We did enjoy this hotel and even though it was a bit out of the way, the shuttle bus made up for this. It was our last night in Rome and we enjoyed the quietness after all the hustle and bustle of the last month. The hotel breakfast was the best we had while in Italy and they had all the amenities. All in all, a very enjoyable, clean and comfortable stay.

would return Although lacking helpful front-desk staff and really being far from the activities, the hotel was quiet, clean and in fairly good condition. Trips to the main part of Rome are governed by the shuttle drop-off/pickup times, but they were never an issue as they ran fairly punctual. If you stay at this hotel be aware of the metro’s (subway) LineA last service stop time, and shuttle’s pickup time. Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks Instead of booking tours to see nearby cities, consider going to the termini (main train station hub) and buying a train ticket to the city you want to tour. The attendants speak fairly good English, and you’ll save over 50%. If you do buy a train ticket, don’t forget to get it validated at the gate it departs prior to boarding.

The hotel was lovely, the staff was friendly and the standards of cleanliness were high. The breakfast buffet provided a lot of choice and was suitable for all ages. The hotel a la carte menu seemed expensive compared to restaurants of a higher quality in the centre of Rome. The courtesy bus service was very useful, however the small size of the buses meant that there were often guests left stranded.

+The facilities and the location. -The abrupt and not-so-helpful staff at the reception was not a warm welcome to Italy !
