Location is very convenient. Quality of room was below expectation - TV with broken remote control, malfunctioning air condition which was freezing the room. Single room is very small, has no Pay TV or some other channels rather than 1 CNN channel (all others are in Italian). Breakfasts are poor in selection, cheese or ham are not fresh and constant delays in renewing food, juices, forks, etc... Overall - this is not a 4-star hotel.

I had booked the single economy room: A good choice taken into account that hotel rooms in Rome are expensive. Expect a small room but with a reasonably sized bathroom. The mattress was rather bad though. Breakfast was good (ask for espresso coffee which they make for you in the kitchen).

+The staff was very accomodating. They cared about our stay at the hotel and our visit to Rome. They were happy to make reservations for us. -The first night they put us in a two star room. We were very disappointed. The next morning at breakfast, one of the managers comes around and asks for your impression. We complained and they were happy to move us to a much better room (about a three star by American standards but much much better)

This was a trip to celebrate my "special" birthday with my husband. We felt the hotel was in a good location for moving about the city. It is in a small back street, but we never felt ill at ease on a night time. Breakfast was good, just what would normally be provided in Italy. The hotel was great, staff very helpful, welcoming drinks provided. Room was clean and in a good state of decor. Safe in room which was free of cost. Area surrounding hotel has lots of small restaurants and all meals were excellent. Would definitely stay again.

+The room was on the 5th floor and was renovated and large. Also, quiet as we had requested. -Strange bathroom layout. Not really a problem, but odd.
