The location of this hotel is horrible all around. Very difficult to find and in a poor section of town. No shuttle service to the airport..the airport is NOT 10 minutes away..count on at least 20 to 30. Must walk to a bus to get to the train to get to Rome. Much, much too far out from Rome. Service was extremely poor, management boardered on being rude. Trapped in a stuck elevator for over 20 minutes. Had to be PULLED out. NOT a good time. Do NOT recommend it to anyone traveling to Rome.

+ The staff at the front desk were most helpful and considerate! the bed and room was comfortable and clean. the waiter, julian, in the restaurant was most charming and helpful! - The internet was not up yet and we could not figure out how to use the tv. the heating/cooling system was just barely adquate. old fashioned key locks on the doors were interesting.

+ The food was good. i think the hotel is good for tour groups as they cater to these groups. - No one to hlp with luggage, no service ar all, left card on door for breakfast in room and it was not picked up. there were three groups staying at the hotel and we could not get waited on and we were treated as an inconvience when we came in for dinner. we were not told that there were groups staying at the hotel and that we would have a diffucult time ordering dinner and having breakfast. we asked the desk clerk to order a taxis for 8.30 the next morning and she had an attitude regarding the request.the hotel was probably very nice twenty years ago but needs updating.

+ The desk staff was very helpful. - Yes, your web site said the hotel was near the airport (a few kilometers away) in reality it took 30 minutes by cab and cab fare was 60 euros (about $90!) which certainly off-set any price savings!

+ I was impressed with the services available for the price. i surprised to see that mini bar was free. the free breakfast was good as well. - The only negative was the hotel was not easy to find but it was worth it once we got there

The Hotel is very comfortable, rooms well maintained, TV good but could do with few more English Channels. Airconditioning so so needs servicing, but adequate. Breakfast buffet excellent and wonderful staff very helpful. Reception great really helpful and know all the local district buses etc. Central Rome 40 mins by express bus and metro 1 Euro!! Ostia beaches also 30 mins away change of bus very easy Now the buts!! Sorry. No Internet in Hotel or for kilometres around hotel must rectify this. Also, very strangely, no coffee shop or 24 hour service. This is bad for a 4 star rated hotel, lastly please provide a pen or pencil for writing notes in the room. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet oasis near to room, oh yes the swimmingpool and gym are great!

+ Room was very nice and so was the price. we had an excellent dinner and breakfast in the hotel. - The distance from fiumicino airport is misleading. it took over 40 minutes by taxi and cost 45 euros each way.
