During my last trip to Rome I stayed at Hotel Aphrodite. The location by the main railway is excellent and the hotel was clean and new. Friendly and english speaking staff. I recommend this hotel.

Having read that the hotel is a good choice for mobility impaired travelers, I wrote them an email after booking, saying that I needed access with NO steps and sufficiently large elevator for my electric scooter. They wrote back saying no problem. Howev

The environment where the hotel is situated especially for nights was not safe.

Okay for quick early-morning departures This hotel is a decent place to stay if you are leaving Rome through the Rome airport early the following morning. It is just steps from the train station and an easy walk even with luggage. However, the front door was broken during our stay, the bathroom door did not close and the AC didn't work...

The strong point of this hotel is undoubtedly its terrace. A nice corner to begin your day having breakfast and astonishingly a secluded garden for a glass of wine late at night. Its location is pretty convenient. I have to mention though, that not all the receptionists speak English which make it a little difficult at the beginning and that one morning, without much explanation, we run out of breakfast at 9:00 am.

Excellent location, very close to central station (<50m). Lot of fast food restaurant nearby & internet centre, and supermarket just infront of hotel. Hotel interior are newly renovated, so room was nice and very clean but a bit small for triple bed. Breakfast are basic but sufficient. We stay here for 3 days and very happy with the services. Due to no room available on the fouth day, we move to other hotel with more expensive but found interm of quality much less than Aprhodite hotel. Recommend this hotel to anyone, and definitly will stay again in this hotel next time.

We booked this hotel through a travel agent. After 15 hours of flight, we arrived at this place. Booking was confirmed way ahead of time, we presented the Voucher ticket, but the receptionist told us that our travel agent made a mistake by overbooking. We complained and requested that they confirmed with our travel agent, but all the talks lead to nowhere. Their only standard response was "Zis iz naut our fault. You can complain to your travel agent." The receptionist claimed this is not their fault and pushed us to another hotel (Scot House, which turned out to be an affiliate of Hotel Aphrodite and is rated 2 stars only.)
