Antico Borgo Di Trastevere
Vicolo Del Buco 7 - 00153 Rome
The two star Hotel Antico Borgo di Trastevere in Rome gives visitors to Rome the perfect base from which to enjoy Rome to its fullest, being in the exciting Trastevere neighbourhood with its excellent nightlife and across the Tiber from the Old Jewish Quarter. From here, cross the Tiber and from the Largo Argentina you can reach almost all the important sites of the city.Go to Piazza Venezia, the Roman Forum and the Coliseum or the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, and shopping Mecca Via del Corso in the other direction. Head a different way and you’re soon beholding Saint Peters at the Vatican and its spectacular museums. On Sunday head to the Porta Portese for the famous Roman Sunday Market. The people from the Trastevere neighbourhood call themselves the "real Romans". Try some real Roman food at the nearby La Tana dei Noantri, Ai Fiernaroli, L'Asinoccotto and Antico Tevere. The neighbourhood is safe and full of lively bars at night. The Piazza Trilussa is the heart of Roman night life and crossing Ponte Sisto you can walk to the other main light life Piazza, Piazza Campo dei Fiori. This 18th century building is in the heart of the historical neighbourhood. The double rooms are rather small but cosy, beautiful and good quality. The décor employs traditional dark wood and deep blue tones, with warming wood-beam ceilings and terra-cotta floors. Each room has en suite bathroom (shower) facilities, TV, air conditioning, telephone, hair dryer and electronic safety box. Breakfast is included in the price of the room.Perfect location for great nightlife and seeing Rome!

nice small hotel with a/c in trastevere, owner very helpful - we actually stayed at the sister hotel, just round the block, as there is easier parking there difficult to get to in a car through the maze of the one way streets

Very, very, very noisy. Several people (10+) were sharing a single shower so it took hours to get out in the morning. However, the neighborhood is good and price is cheap for Rome.

Very nice area, somehow difficult to find. Room cannot be smaller! Look like a cage...However the service was very friendly and efficient. Having past the first shok of the minimun space of the room, I probably will be back again.

Bath and toilet arrangements in room 1 are bad--far too cramped.

As described on the site, the rooms were very small but convenient. Perfect location for visiting any place in Rome. The breakfast could be much improved with fresh juice and bread instead of packed chemicals. The main drawback was noise insulation which is extremely poor.

On the Sunday the breakfast did not arrive at the time asked for, i.e. 8.00 a.m. but only at 8.25, and as I was there on business, it was a bit unpleasant.
