For our mid-Oct weekend stay Hotel Andreotti proved to be a good base for exploring Rome. On a fairly quiet side street an easy 10 min walk from Termini station made it bonus for arriving by train. Bus and subway access readily available. Slightly east of

Excellent buffet breakfast. Some of the rooms had wood flooring and were very nice. The decor is dated but quaint and clean. The antiquated elevator was charming. Hotel accessible by car but parking is obviously a problem. The walk to the centre (eg, Fontana di Trevi)was about 15min at a brisk place.

Very nice welcome in this hotel. Personnel provide good advice and are very helpfull. Central location that permits to visit correctly Rome downtown. We had a very calm room at the back of the hotel. Breakfast is average but still sufficient to support the day visit program. Space is not common in Italian hotel but our room provides enough room for 2 adults and 1 child (6 years old) in a triple.

The air conditioning system in the guest rooms was inadequate. Each morning the A/C would be turned off at approx. 7:30 a.m. and was unavailable until approx. 2:30 p.m. Even when it was available, you had to have the room key in the room to provide power for the room. Upon your return from a hot day's sightseeing, your room was hot and did not cool off quickly at all. The front desk employees were very pleasant and helpful and the location was okay.

If the hotel was located closer(easy walking distance) to the historical center of the city, it would be ideal in all respects.

1. the map should be more clear for first come tourist. 2. the bedroom is too small , especially the place of shower and the trashcan is out of ouder. 3. close the airconditioner at 6:00AM, if could, I think 8:00 AM is better. 4. the breadfast is good, but when we check out,the employees ask how many fruit we eat, should pay additional charge, it really confuse me, which was the first time we met, and I didn't remember is there any sign to annouence fruit charge.

We stayed in a double room at the rear of the hotel, which I found nice and quiet. Ok, it didn't have a view per say but we were happy with what we had. Staff were very courteous and eager to help and it was a very pleasant stay. I would most certainly recommend to friends and family. It is placed a little out of the way however we found it easy enough to make our way around the city. Very reasonable, and a pleasant place to stay. Thank you.

Had a lovely stay and the staff was great. We needed a room on a return trip to Rome later in our vacation and even though we didn't have a reservation when we returned we had a room available at the same price we had paid earlier.

My husband and I spent 4 nights at the Andreotti and 3 days sightseeing in Rome. We really enjoyed our stay and would certainly recommend the hotel to others. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were very pleasant and there was a good choice of fayre for breakfast. Our only complaint would be that the water in the shower was rather tepid on three out of the four mornings we stayed. The Andreotti was in easy reach of all main attractions. We recommend buying a two-day ticket on the open-top sightseeing bus which you can get on and off as many times as you like (very good value). On our first morning we took the full two hour round trip to get a general overview of the city then got off at the attractions we wanted to see.
