This hotel was of an excellent standard considering the very low price. The man running it could not have been more friendly or helpful, although he spoke very little English so visitors should be prepared to try to speak Italian or learn to communicate through gestures! The room was sparsely decorated but clean and comfortable and with a good shower in the en suite bathroom. The hotel is right next to a tram stop from where fairly frequent trams run to the main train station. Breakfast is not provided, but there is a shop over the road where you can get a cappucino and a croissant for €1 ! Overall I would say that this hotel offers excellent value for money.

The Amico was definately worth the money, but you get what you pay for. Some of the staff spoke English (Erica), but they were all as helpful as they could be. The hotel is located on the 7th floor of an apartment building, and there's not much sineage ou

The hotel was in a bad area of Rome. It was not within walking distance of anything. The room was filthy and I did not think my children were safe in it. The traffic noise was very loud all night. The bathroom was covered with mold and mildew. We checked out early due to the condition and location of the hotel. Not a friendly place as the name led on.

The neighbourhood of the hotel (east of Stazzione Termini) was not the best. But the hotel was exactly as descibed.

Far from the center. Terrible location, hotel is on the 7th floor of the building. No A/C. Very loud because of the elevator and front desk. F/D agents do not speak English.

On your website it stated that thehotel was 700m from the train station it was actually 3 kilometres and 9 euros in a taxi. The hotel was dirty and the people did not speak any english and it was it a really bad area right under the motorway. we only stayed one night and found another hotel

Clean rooms and friendly employees. Close to public transportation, which was really good. During the night a lot of traffic so not quiet enough

It would have helped had we known how very far the hotel was from Termini (it looked quite close on the map provided!) It would also have helped to have been given a map of where to get the tram as they were good, just very hard to find the stop if you didn't know where to look. We probably wasted 3 hours of our one afternoon in Rome going to the hotel because we were given the impression it was nearby! It was also in quite a dodgy looking area, I'm glad I wasn't going there alone!

In the original offer on the Venere.com, the lack of breakfast was not mentioned
