Pensione Tizi is a modest, family run, one star guesthouse situated a few steps from Piazza della Repubblica and very close to Via Veneto. Located in an old Palace dating back to 800, this guesthouse offers the chance to stay with a real Italian family.The rooms are simple but comfortable and equipped with all that you need to relax after a long day out exploring the centre of Rome. Some of the rooms have air conditioning, others have a balcony and some have private bathrooms, although most share a bathroom (one bathroom for every two rooms). All of the rooms, which accommodate one, two, three and four guests, are spread over the three floors of this historic building that are owned by the family. The single room has a single bed; the double room has a double, the triple has a single and a double and the quadruple has one double bed and two singles.The guesthouse has a communal room where breakfast is served (not included) and which is also used as a reading room. The city of Rome is just waiting to be discovered and the staff here offer all kinds of tourist information to help you do so; maps, museum guides, information about monuments, etc.Accommodation for those on a budget in one of the classiest areas of Rome!
