Good centrally located hotel. Room rather basic for 4 star hotel, but clean and quiet (room at back of hotel). Breakfast ok but not big selection. Biggest plus was to be within walking distance of many famous sights

we paid 250 euros/night, and got a tiny room that had a small outdoor space (which was nice) but, the space was completely surrounded by buildings... it was on the 1st floor and not much to look at. Location was good, near Spanish Steps and Barberrini Square.

We stayed for three nights just this past August 11, 2007 and we certainly have a great time in Rome. Especially that the hotel Ottocento has a great location and the staff is beyond excellent! The bathroom is clean, and it is such new and modern. The room itself is spacious enough with a king-size bed. The food is great as well as the restaurant upstairs. Nevertheless, what we really like most aside from the room are the staff, very knowledgeable with friendly atmosphere especially to Nicko and Patricia. Surely, I will spread the word about this great hotel and certainly, I will stay again in Ottocento when I come back to Rome. Mary Ann and Viola, New York

I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Rome - great location, excellent staff, and spacious room and (especially) bath, atleast by European standards. Also, the breakfast was much more substantial than most I have had at European hotels, including eggs and fresh toast. Again, one of the best European hotels I've ever stayed in.

Initially hard to find but the experience was outstanding. Staff were exceptionally informed and helpful. Restaurant and facilities were an added bonus. Convenient location for sightseeing and shopping. Outstandingly charming.
