Accomodation Bed In Rome
Via Prati Della Farnesina 57 - 00194 Rome
Accommodation Bed in Rome is a charming penthouse apartment. It has recently been completely remodelled and attractively furnished and all rooms have individual air-conditioning and heating units. First class service is provided and maximum norms of safety and hygiene are applied. Accommodation Bed in Rome is located in the picturesque and antique neighbourhood near Ponte Milvio, one of the oldest bridges across the Tiber River in Rome, dating back to the second century BC. The famous battle for the imperial throne between Constanine and Massenzio took place here. The neighbourhood offers a rich assortment of typical Roman restaurants, bars and pizzerias. You can take a stroll along the romantic Tiber River or rent bicycles and ride down the bike lane which will take you to the St. Peter and the spectacular Castel S. Angelo in just 20 minutes. On the last Sunday of every month there is an open-air antique/flea market set up along the river, where you can find all sorts of Italian relics from the past. For people fond of athletics and soccer, the Olympic stadium is only 200 metres away.

+ The hotel was very basic, but very clean.fine for a short stay.within reasonable distance of city centre. - The foyer of the hotel needs freshened up,as on arrival,it looks very shabby. also our balcony overlooked a scrap yard, which wasnt the best view in tyhe world!

+ Really nice owner, a bit far from the city centre but with a good connection by trams or buses, clean room, air-condition. - Not much choice for the breakfast, mosquitoes (pe prepared).

+ We spent one night in the hotel. the facilities were excellent at this b and b in the outskirts of rome. lower price reflects location further from city centre. several attractive places to eat nearby, quiet rooms, easy and fast bus route to the centre. extremely friendly welcome from the owner. through no fault of the owners, the council was due to cut of the water supply the day after we arrived. the owners arranged for us to stay in another of their hotels (more cemtral at no extra cost), transferred our luggage and made sure that we were comfortable throughout our stay. - None

+ The owners were very friendly and helpful, giving advise about local attractions etc - The breakfast is very poor (only one bread roll, some crispbreads and some jam as well as tea coffe or juice). the only way to heat up water for hot drinks was the microwave, i would suggest having a kettle. there was no sink in the kitchenette area and this would have been useful. it would be better to say the apartments were self catering and not provide any breakfast and lower the price a little. the bathroom was not ensuite but in a separate adjoining room that you could only lock with the key. it would be nice to have a latch on the inside. the shower was of very poor quality and hardly a dribble. the locks were all poor quality making it difficult to open and lock the doors. the only tv is in the communal living room and it is very small. it would be nice to provide a tv in your room.

+ Very clean, comfortable bed, nice neighbourhood with ample choice of restaurants and bars, easy to access - A better map could be provided to enable guests to find the accomodation first time, or maybe we need a map reading course!

+ Staff were very friendly and accomadating. - It is not a hotel and should not be placed under a website for hotel. we could have been informed before hand that it would not accept credit card, just a cash payment.
