Located near train station - traffic makes noise. There is a church 50 m from hotel, ringing the bell every 30 min. Roof issolation pure - You can hear steps in rooms above. Windows has automatic rollets - that's good - you can make the room totaly black even during the day. Roooms are middle big, clean and nice. Internet in every room (wired) for EUR 7.00 for 24h.

I agree with other reviewers that the location and the staff at the hotel are very good. My only critic to the hotel is that the rooms are really small, and when I say small, I really mean small. The bed was more like a children bed and after 10 min in the room you felt like you were in a submarine.

A lovely hotel with very helpful staff. We stayed for 3 days in Sep 2004 before heading for Rome by train (superb scenery) The hotel overlooks a square and is approx 400 yards from the beach. Along the promenade are lots of restaurants and we found the food very good and reasonably priced (pizza 5 to 6 euros, pasta dishes 6 to 7 euros). We felt very safe and would recommend this city for a short break

The Best Western Plaza in Principe Umberto was a welcome sight after arriving in Naples. The hotel was clean, the rooms were spacious and cleaned to a high standard each day. Breakfast was continental. Each room has a safe, I would advise all valuables be locked away rather than take them out with you. We had a lucky escape with an attempt theft of my wifes ahndbag and another couple we met had £200 in cash stolen. A excellent hotel booked over the internet at a dsicount price.
