Terranova

Booked at Terranova but was brought to another hotel but the hotel was great so no big deal. The only thing was that the tiled hallways and floors made any noise echo through the room and there was a family with a baby that screamed all morning on one day. I still would reccomend as it is within close walking distance to port and a few beaches. The staff was nice too and the room was beautiful.

There is NO terrace, altho' it is stated on the website that guests can see the sea and Isla da Tavola from the roof. Evidently it has not been in use for a while - unsafe. Otherwise, we were very pleased with our six-day stay there. The parking offered is safe, but it was easier to leave the car down by the port to save negotiating all the one-way streets. We were quite content with our internet 'find'.

Hotel has an excellent location to restaurants, bars, etc. We enjoyed our short stay, except for the very poor weather. The hotel restaurant was excellent with a cosy atmosphere. It has an extensive sea food menu, we had problems understanding, as it was only in Italian. As the restaurant was very busy, we didn't feel it was the right time to ask the, very helpful, waiter to take us trough the entire contents. As a result, we chose the wrong dishes, excellent, but not what we really wanted.

I enjoyed my stay at Terranova. My room was clean and comfortable and I loved the view over the rooftops to the bay and the mountains.The breakfast was always good and everyone was very tolerant of my attempts at Italian! When I reported a problem with my toilet, it was fixed straight away. Paula, who worked part-time in Reception, was particularly friendly and is a real asset to the hotel. Thank you.

very difficult to reach the hotel by car and no parking in the hotel. it wasn't mentioned when i booked through internet. thank you

we stay 2 nights in a 5th floor in 2 nice rooms. the last day the lift was broken and we took steps with our luggage. you have to pay the parking 7€/day

I stayed there for nearly a week and I was really satisfied. The staff is really friendly and try to help you as much as possible. If you need a rental car as at the desk. They can help you. I would always stay there again.

Large room nicely furnished. Good value for money.

+location -construction in the area made it hard to find, roads were closed

Friendly and helpful receptionists. Breakfast could have offered a little more variety. There was no hairdryer and safe in the room as mentioned on the hotel description.
