You need a car! Great hotel and friendly staff, but its quite a long way from Bari old town, which is about 20 euros in a cab. There are no shops within walking distance and the Hotel doesn't do food on a Sunday. Not the best place if you don't have a car.

Very nice and hospital staff, very good and fresh breakfast. Good tips for travelling around and a good place to drive to the coast (Otranto).

We arrived in Bari by ferry from Dubrovnik at 8 p.m. and stayed one night to pick up the car from the car rental company at the airport. The hotel is not located near the port or the airport. The cost of a taxi was about 25 Euros from the port to the hotel. As a taxi had to be ordered from outside the cost was about 34 Euros from the hotel to the airport. The hotel's restaurant closed very early on the Sunday evening and we could not get a meal at about 8:45 p.m. However, reception ordered us two pizzas from outside and closed an area off in the bar for us to eat. The quality of the room furniture (esp. beds) did not correspond with a 4-star hotel. The shower area was also extremely small.

We stayed at Hotel Majesty for one night as part of a weekend getaway to Bari from Naples. It took 3 hrs and 1/2 tank gas. I wish I knew: The hotel is NOT "Downtown". It took a taxi (15 euros one way as of May 07) or a 40 min public bus (1,50 euros as of May 07) to get downtown to see any tourist sights. The hotel had very limited Air Conditioning. Despite the thermostat in our small room, it was sweltering hot. There is no view to speak of, and you can clearly hear the highway traffic from an open window. Despite this, the staff was excellent, whipping up an amazing feast for us to eat in the bar, since the restaurant was fully booked. The meal featured a Delicious 10 euro bottle of Falanghina wine and cost 45 euros. The adjacent pool demands you wear a bathing cap, ask pool staff to borrow one. I was upset about the location of this hotel, on exit 15 of the highway, nowhere near the "downtown core". Overall, it was clean, comfortable, the food was excellent and staff helpful. I would rate it a 3 1/2 star, which is excellent for a country of 2 stars trying to pass off as 3 stars.

The breakfast was very good, with cold and hot food. The room was large and all facilities promissed were there (TV, fridge, air conditioning, non-smoking room). The swimming-pool was exclusively for members. It is a big hotel located at the Tangenziale, which created a lot of difficulty to find it.

There is big free swimming pool. The hotele is far from Bari centre, but there is a bus (12/) in front of the hotel that reaches the centre in 40 minutes. Really quite.
