A great find indeed. Only a few mins walk from the centre and train station. Has recently been refurbished and offers smart, clean well appointed rooms. Make sure to ask for "outward facing" rooms. The staff are very friendly and the food is good. Great value for money Highly recommended.

The hotel was quite adequate. The room was large and clean, the staff was good and the location convenient. At the price -- 239.10 euros for 2 nights -- I didn't expect luxury; I expected what I got, which was fine. My wife and I stayed in Bari because we were visiting my wife's mother's birthplace about 10 miles from Bari, and the village had no hotels (or no hotels listed on the internet). The Adria is about 100 yards or so from the train station, which obviously makes it very convenient if train is your mode of travel. There is a good resturant around the corner from the hotel, and an excellent gelato parlor across the street. The main shopping area is a just a couple of blocks away. Bari did not impress us -- that is, I wouldn't visit there except for the purpose mentioned.

The Adria is a hidden gem. It's very close to the train station which in my experience is not always a good sign. While the immediate area around the hotel is much like the surroundings of any train station in Europe, the hotel itself is an oasis. Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was acceptable but nothing special. Bari, was pretty hot upon our stay but the AC in the room was thankfully ice cold. The hotel staff were nice and gave us good directions. It's a nice place to relax after a day on Bari's hectic streets.

Beautiful room, great location, fabulous restaurant with good service. We arrived late in the evening, but were still made welcome, enjoying a terrific antipasto meal. A small drawback for us though was no tea/coffee making facilities, but this was made up for by the beautiful smorgasbord breakfast. Bari is a great city - full of life and character.

This hotel is conveniently located in the center of town, less than 5 minutes from the train station. Even though the street and immediate vicinity lack character and originality, the hotel is only a couple of blocks from the bustling trendy shopping district. Rooms are very variable, from small, stuffy and window access restricted to the central covered patio, to overlooking the railroad tracks to larger, more spacious room overlooking the street. After visiting several rooms that we deemed inadequate, we stayed in #201, which we recommend. It was 20 Euros more expensive than the smaller rooms, but the cost was worth the additional space. Breakfast was adequate. Service at the reception was very nice.

We stayed at this hotel when in transit to a group bike riding tour of the Puglia region. It was very convenient. Not only was it an easy walk from the train station, but we walked from the hotel along the main shopping street and into old town. Bari in general far exceeded our expectations and is worth a day's visit. The Hotel Adria was a perfectly pleasant place to stay. The rooms were pretty large and clean, although ours smelled of cigarette smoke coming from the room above. The breakfast was adequate (not great). And most importantly, the location and price was right.

We just passed through Bari after catching a ferry from Croatia. Can't say anything about the city, but the Adria Hotel was a very nice place. Nice lobby, clean rooms, good breakfast, and reasonable price. Would recommend to anyone who needs a place in Bari.

This was my second time staying in this hotel, the last been a few years ago when it was been redecorated, I must say I was amazed at the revamp which this hotel has seen.

this hotel was great, it was centrally located and although next to the railway was quiet. the room was modern, spotless and the bathroom was sheer luxury. breakfast was good and the restraunt is excellent for evening meals. the staff were polite and friendly. there is a small bar in the recepyion area which is adequate for a quiet hotel. the hotel is close to the main town area, and lots of bars, restaurants.... if you are going to bari, i would definitely reccommend this hotel.

This is a really central hotel. It is located right beside the Central Station, where there are taxi ranks and buses to take you to the airport and ferries. The rooms are really clean and modern and the bathroom has all the modern amenities. There decor in the hotel is modern and they offer all the usual hotel facilities. The only minus for some people might be that the trains run past the back of the hotel. We didn't find this a problem as the trains weren't that loud. We had an exterior room but I think there are exterior rooms as well. The parking around the streets of Bari is hectic to say the least. All the streets are lined with double parked cars. We left our car back to the airport and got the bus directly back to the station which is right beside the hotel. The Avis office is directly across from the hotel which is handy if you have hired a car from them. All in all this is a great hotel, perfect for stop overs, to and from the airport.
