Fine business hotel outside of Frankfurt I’ve stayed here for three years now during the book show. It’s a great way to escape the astronomical prices of the city hotels during the show. This year though I feel that the service has fallen. There was no computer available in the business center to use where in years past there were several computers. I couldn’t get extra towel though I asked more than once and once I used the coffee cups in the room they stayed used in our room and were never replaced or cleaned and no new tea or coffee was brought--again even though I asked. The place is clean and easy to get into town by car or train and the price is great. It’s good 2 star business or tourist hotel.

Pleasurable stay The stay here was different from what you normally would find in the United States (obviously), but the staff made the stay pleasureable. I met my family here for a short vacation, as I am working overseas. None of us spoke German, but the hotel staff made every effort to understand us and make us comfortable. If you plan on staying here, the hotel is a good choice, but something closer to Frankfort would save you money on transportation. On a given day, we traveled to and from Frankfort, it was at least 12 euro for a taxi to the train station and back, and for the three of us about 40+ euro for the train tickets round trip. We found you could cut the train cost in half if you buy a group ticket, but still that is an extra 20-30 euro a day. There are little shops in the area, but most of your shopping and sights you would want to go to Frankfort for anyway. The hotel staff was wonderful, they let us look at their open rooms, and select the room that would work the best for us. They supplied us with plug converters from US plugs to German outlets. On Good Friday, when everything was closed, the staff made us dinner at the resturaunt, even though the cooks were not there. We got new towels every day, and when we went out for the day, our room was always cleaned up when we got back. The staff was very helpful, even helping us order food from the nearby pizza place.
