Qualities such as open-minded/ cosmopolitan/ pulsative and even intimate are just very few ones that the pure does not only share with the city of frankfurt - but also offers its guests. erected from a 19th century loft and completely renovated - it expresses ease as well as clearness and transparency despite being situated right in the heart of this lively city.the interaction of the lobby/ the breakfast room/ the bar and the lounge form the living room as one harmonic unit. by the exclusive choice of bright and clear material -white lacquer/ thassos glass stone/ white leather and light grey floor- as well as by the effect of the rooms width - the hotel itself will become no more than a background attraction in the guests eyes - while the happenings around will be focused. furthermore the atmosphere is adjusted to the course of our clients day. in the morning pleasing light and smooth music welcome the guests in quietness as well as vitality. in the evening the pure turns into an oasis full of energy and underlined by visual orange effects.the pures patio is an enjoyable addition to the lobby. trick fountains/ fat boys/ timberteck decking/ comfortable stairs to sit on/ bamboo and mirrors support the communication and interaction of our guests.the idea of space without borders is continued in our rooms.the height of the ceiling/ the use of bright material/custom made plissee lamp shades that come straight from the ceiling/ and partially glazed bathtubs make the clients feel as free as possible. the choice of high gloss zebrano as well as parquet made of high quality oak make the rooms appear silent as well as balanced and very comfortable.the open rooms/ the bright material/ and the extraordinary atmosphere make the pure a wonderful place to spoil the soul.

Great breakfast and walking distance to the Messe I just stayed on the top floor of The Pure for a week and LOVED it. It was nice and quiet and the rooms were, for the most part very comfortable (pillows were weird and lumpy and they only use duvet comforters on the bed, which was actually fine; I couldn’t figure out how to turn on the heat, though). The free Wifi access wasn’t working for a couple days, but their sister hotel, The Bristol, had a computer in the lobby that we could use for free. The Bristol also had EXCELLENT food in their bar (the mixed green salad with chicken is so good I had it twice that week). I also loved the breakfast at The Pure. Very fresh, healthy and filling. My only complaint about the hotel is that it’s on a dark street and I felt a bit uncomfortable at night. Taxis were always very easy to catch, though since the hotel is near the main train station. Overall, though, the service was excellent and I would definitely go back if going to an event at the Messe.

Was sufficient My wife and I chose the Pure for an overnight in Frankfurt recently because we had seen a review of it in a "design hotel" catalog book we had picked up from another hotel. We liked the complimentary Sekt upon arrival. Staff was polite, parking nearby. The sauna was very clean and relaxing. Close to Hauptbanhof(main train station). We were in a rush in the morning so did not have time to sample the breakfast spread, but it did look very appealing. Only drawback to this hotel was that the mattress was a bit to soft. Otherwise, not a bad hotel.

Great hotel but location iffy The Pure is a lovely little boutique hotel. Lobby and rooms are beautiful, breakfast is great, service also great. It is located near the main train station but in a neighborhood that includes quite a few people who are either homeless or on the street using drugs/alcohol. The 2 block walk to the train station (to catch a taxi) are unpleasant and would not feel safe in the evening.

Clean but not fullfilling The hotel is neat and clean and location is also not bad. Close to the MESSE Grounds and to the Railway Station. The hotel seems to have been renovated very recently and offers a nice clean contemporary appeal. Everything is fine except that the rooms are very small and tight and give you a suffocating feeling. I was there to attend IAA Show and stayed two nights. It was practical. Breakfast is good and service is also pretty nice. For a practical, clean stay its a good choice. Expedia should rate it 3.5 Stars and not 4 however.

Good hotel in excellent location I stayed at the Pure for 4 nights recently (late Sept ’07). The location is good - 3 minutes walk from the main train station, in a clean and well-lit area (i.e., not in the red-light district). The rooms are small but clean. Service is good, and the breakfast is standard fare, but good. The wireless internet service only works close to the lobby, i.e., it doesn’t seem to work in the rooms further away from the lobby. I probably won’t stay here again for that reason - I’m still trying to find a hotel in the Hbf area that has wireless service in the rooms. So far, I haven’t been successful. Note that the bar at the Pure has an excellent collection of liquors, including a very nice 30-yr old Laphroaig. If you like Islays, definitely try this one.

Nice place They let me in my room early after a long overnight flight so was impressed with their service and helpfullness. Everything was clean and breakfast was great. Not a bad location, though not so upscale, but close to the train station.

Pure & Simple We enjoyed the simple and clean atmosphere of the Pure. It was quiet and very convienent. Traveler's tip on dining many good restuarants within walking distance. Also the train station was very close.
