Steigenberger Hotel Frankfurt Langen

Disappointing service Although the hotel was clean and the room was adequate, the service provided by the staff was very poor. The dining room staff were more interested in ingnoring you than serving you. The door tag for morning breakfast room service was never even picked up off of the room door, even though it was hung out well before the cut-off time. The only exception is the bartenders. They were exceptional. I thought I was in a different hotel when I went to the bar. They attended to every need and more. They are first rate. This could be a great hotel if it wasn’t for the poor attitude of the staff. I will not stay here again or recommend it.

It’s convenient to airport & city (with S-Bahn). It’s a basic hotel, well run. I’ll use it again It’s a basic hotel with no frills. It’s efficiently and courteously run.

It is okay... It was okay to stay. Free airport shuttle is nice. Although i reserved for 2 twin beds room, they gave us 1 bed room at first. During day, they were working something maybe on drainpipe or water supply? ... it was so noisy and the water was too dirty ...yellow... but no apology was shown. I hope we just had a bad timing and bad day. Breakfast was charged extra besides the room charges... that’s too much!!

A fine example of German business hotels. Not a family hotel due to its location inside an industrial park. However, for overnite transit stays iots service to and from the Frankfurt airport is excellent.

Nice hotel, but in the middle of nowhere The hotel is nice enough, but the location isn’t great. It is in the middle of a bunch of industrial looking office buildings. There aren’t any shops or restaurants within walking distance. You’ll need to drive to find anything.

Nice & inexpensive The hotel has a free shuttle to & from the airport and is located a short S-bahn ride away from downtown Frankfurt. The rooms are very nice, but I still can’t get used to the rock hard European twin beds! Nice bar & restaurant in the hotel.

The Basic overnight stay NB: The Langen Steigenburger hotel is nothing like its FRA Airport namesake. Be prepared to wait 1 hr for airport shuttle to Steigenburger Langen. The shuttle runs only on the hour during the day but switches to each 30 mins in the evening. The shuttle takes 20 mins to airport so build 30 mins into yr Hotel departure time. Room comfort is bare minimum and the hotel Bar appears to be tendered part time. The resturant is adequate and the staff were very friendly. One of the niceties is that the hotel will rent you a Bicycle to pedal the 5km to downtown Langen - but dont expect much more than a small village with low key shops - a nice ride none-theless. Next time I will stay at the Airport Steigenburger.
