Manhattan Hotel

Comfortable Base We stayed here for one night while visiting the Christmas market. Its centrally located with the main train station opposite, making transport links back to the airport easy. The room we were given was basic, but clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was lovely with a wide choice of breakfast items, hot & cold. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who needs accomodation for one or two nights.

Rooms not female friendly The ventiliation in the bathroom was extremely poor. Even without having a shower, the bathroom became humid and uncomfortable very quickly. After a shower it was not possible to stay in the bathroom to put on make-up due to the humidity. In addition, although there was a huge mirror, a shelf, sink and wc were all in front of this so you had to stand at least 3 feet away. A hairdrier is provided in the bathroom, but again it was too uncomforatble to stay in this room (even with the door open) to use this. In the main room the only mirror was on the back of the bathroom door. This was flanked by two tall pieces of furniture, and there was no lighting in this area. Again not good for make-up. If you brought your own hairdrier with you, unfortunately there were no sockets anywhere near this mirror. The room would be perfectly fine for anyone who did not need to use a mirror or spend more than two minutes in the bathroom. The rest of the hostel and service was very good.

Great location to subway and train station We were very happy with this hotel. The breakfast was very good with lots to choose from along with scrambled eggs. The room and bathroom were a nice size and very clean. Traveler's tip Take the subway to the airport instead of the train. It is a very short walk to the subway and very convenient.
