Lindner Hotel & Residence Main Plaza Frankfurt

Great location I would recommend this hotel. It is located near the public transportation, the river walk, museums and most major sites.

Fellow travelers, here's what I wrote to my secretary. I think it says it all.....

Modern Hotel, Big rooms The hotel seems to mainly cater to business people so its not super extravagant (hotel lobby doesn’t look all that impressive), however the service is excellent and the rooms are some of the best you will find in Europe in terms of both size (we had a large 1 bedroom suite) and amenities (lots of small things you don’t find in most hotels). The only draw back about the hotel is that it isn’t very close to the major shopping areas (such as Ziel). The hotel is next to the bridge so its close enough to walk to those major attractions on the north side of town. Very friendly and professional staff too. I’ve heard the breakfast buffet is awesome but at 20 euro/person, we didn’t try it.

Excellent business hotel, poor leisure hotel... The hotel is a new, very distinctive 1950's looking skyscraper with large, well appointed rooms including a small very modern kitchenette, a large bathroom, separate sleeping area. The room itself was awesome! Services, however, are more geared to business travelers than leisure travellers. Restaurant & bar are outrageously priced, the front desk staff is attentive, but knows NOTHING about Frankfurt or its tourist attractions or the area around the hotel.

Almost perfect great location out of the bustle of the downtown and away from the big convention center. Easy walk to everything.Very close to numerous lovely small ethnic restaurants.Lovely rooms and service. Our only complaint was the breakfast was very expensive. If you have the time eat that meal elsewhere, though it was a good breakfast. Other than that it was great and at a reasonable price.

Excellent location for walking around Frankfurt. Many nearby restaurants and shops. Excellent wellness and spa facilities. The rate was great because I had a weekend special, during the week it is much more expensive so maybe the price-performance isn't as good then. none

Not impressed I probably got the smallest room they had. It was way too cramped to be comfortable. Both the room and the bathroom were too small. Staff was not very friendly, but I think this is pretty common across Germany. The breakfast (included) was very good. Hotel is conveniently located and nicely decorated and maintained.

Great choice Very much enjoyed the hotel ... great location on the Main. Service was great and staff was very helpful. The breakfast is very good ... don’t bother with the restaurant for dinner - expensive and not very good.

Best hotel I've ever stayed in!!! great bistro cafe just behind the spa, lovely to watch the kids runnning in an out of the fountain.

The hotel staff went out of their way to assist my wife with her medication. We needed a large cooler and the hotel manager took care of things immediately and with great courtesy. They met us in the lobby the day of our check-out to be sure things were in order. Great attention to detail. Also, the breakfast was superb!!! None. This is an exceptional hotel.
