Kolping Hotel Frankfurt

Kolping Hotel Frankfurt

Lange Strasse 26 - 60311 Frankfurt

The Kolping Hotel Frankfurt is an internationally oriented and many-sided place to stay. Here you will find the advantages of a modern conception combined with the long tradition of Kolping. We feel obliged towards our youth, and therefore their apprenticeship for hotel- and restaurant professions is a very important part of our company’s philosophy. You will find our hotel close to the center of the historical "Anlagenring" which used to be part of the citywall. By foot or few stations by train you reach the center of the historical city: the "Römer", where today the cityparliament is seated, the river Main with its many museums along its banks, and many other interesting places such as the Frankfurt theatres. Also the Frankfurt fair and airport are nearby.

Surprizingly good value for the money! Impeccably clean. Simple but new furnishings; rooms more spacious then in most tourist hotels in Germany. Great breakfast. Fantastic and very friendly staff. The area is not too posh, but the tail end of the main shopping avenue, Zeil, is within a few minutes' walking. Felt safe there as a single woman traveler. Would definitely come back.

Clean hotel with excellent transport links, However far too pricey for rooms without a bathroom. Noisy as well with trams. Reasonable enough breakfast and the mainly young staf tried hard.

A little bit of a walk from either of the two closest subway stations. Rooms very clean, bed very narrow and only one set of bathrooms was way at the end of the hall. Staff very friendly and fairly fluent in English. Only a few blocks walk to major shopping street. (Zeil)

The hotel is generally ok, not far from the exhibition centre, price more than acceptable considering the exhibition time. The only negative point: rooms are not quiet. At least mine, because it was exactly in front of the large glass door you find after you get out of the lift. My door was shaking every time the glass door was shut, sometimes very early in the morning.

I am sure the high price of €110 per night was due to the World Cup as naturally hotels put the prices up for such an event. It was very hot and the rooms were not air conditioned so I had to have my window open all the time and the street noise was very

We were staying in Frankfurt for the World Cup in mid-June. This hotel has no air conditioning and barely has windows that open. The room was at least 30 degrees Celcius during the night and the street noises were an additional deterrent. I would not r
