Great location and value This hotel is situated just adjacent to the Hauptbahnhof which makes it ideal for short stays as well as longer trips as a base for exploring further afield. The Hbf is a great place for grabbing bread and fruit to stash in the minibar fridge for late-night snacking. The breakfast at 14 Euros was reasonable since it includes hot foods such as eggs, sausage, bacon, etc and also yogurt, granola, all types of breads and cheese and juices. We found it more than adequate for a good start. The service was wonderful. We were fortunate to work with a front-desk clerk who helped us book a spa appointment and answered our multitude of questions about transport, which is free in the city since the hotel is owned by Deutsche Bahn. The waiter in the restaurant was wonderful too. Nice sense of humor which is refreshing to a foreigner. The only real disappointment was the internet connection in the room--the wireless connection simply didn’t work there. It’s free, though, in the lobby so you can go down there. I was able to access a t-mobile hotspot for 29 Euros for 30 days, which is good if you’re here for 3 days or more. Said connection also works at the airport which is handy for when you leave. Traveler's tip on recreational activities The Villa Kennedy spa is top-notch. It’s a 20 minute walk or a quick tram ride from the Hbf. The sauna, pool and jacuzzi are included with all the treatments and the staff are wonderful. Look it up on the internet--it’s located on Kennedy-alee just across the river from the station.

Room was small but good enough for a single person. 12 pm check out time was convenient. Free internet connection and free train card were good presents from the hotel.

The reception was so kind that they took 1 hour to me check in since they could not find my booking. I spent 30$ for calling my agent to confirm. They offered me much more high rate than my booking as there was only one room left. ( there were rooms ...

Second time not the charm I stayed at this InterCity earlier in the year, and had a nice, spacious room (for Europe) at a reasonable price. This time around, I received a good rate, but the room assigned to me was more of the disappointing, minimal type than before. It was a bit of a letdown, but then again I didn’t spend a lot of time in the hotel. The sauna is always good.

ok hotel, but overpriced This hotel was well located across from the train station, which was great since just breakfast alone at the hotel was approximately $20.00 each. The train station had good, inexpensive food (and great airport access). It was an average hotel, we had no problems, but we hesitate to recommend it because it was outrageously pricey for an average hotel. We booked it due to lack of vacancies in other hotels in the area. Perhaps they are all that expensive. But a better mattress, better pillows, and a bottle of shampoo or two would have been appreciated for the cost. Traveler's tip This is a great walking city, day and night. No matter which way you walk from the station you will witness the wonderful combination of old and new which is Frankfurt. And spend some time hanging out in the station. It’s an adventure in itself.

hotel well located I have stayed twice at this hotel. It is reasonably priced and located next door to the Frankfurt main train station. However, the staff seems to be busy and not forthcoming with information. For example, I found out by accident that I could get a bus pass for free, for every day I stayed at the hotel. That’s a savings of at least 6 Euros per day.

good for a short stay I stayed here just for a night. The single bedroom was quite tiny..but I guess for one night , I was able to manage. The hotel staff was friendly. They have a luggage room, in case you arrive early. The front desk staff speaks English and also got me onto a Frankfurt city tour at a very short notice. The best part of the hotel is that it is very close to the Main Frankurt train station. Only dissapointment I had was that they messed up with my morning wake up call. I never got a wake uo call from the hotel and had to get to the airport in a real hurry.. But overall this is a decent place to stay for a night or two at the most.,.. Traveler's tip on nightlife when your at Frankfurt looking for a decent nightspot.. visit this club called King KaMeha Meha ! Its awesome.. You can take a cab from the hotel for about 13 euros..or also take the train..( cant remember the name of the station though! sorry)
